Our mission is to nurture an ever-growing global community of people who have embarked on the path of spiritual seeking, understanding, and sharing. Each of us acts as a guiding light for others.

We have intentionally set our standards high in holding with James Redfield's vision of the chat room as a space where mature, respectful people can engage in meaningful spiritual conversation. Politeness and basic social etiquette are of primary importance.

Celestine Chat opened in 1999. Many of our long-term members have bonded on deep personal levels during that time. If you are new, you may perceive that they are engaged in familiar chat. Feel free to introduce yourself, jump in, and join the flow!

Upon entering, you agree to abide by the following rules. If you choose not to follow these simple principles, you will be removed, temporarily or permanently, at our discretion. The chats are logged daily and periodically reviewed by Admin.

The following are not permitted:

• Antagonism, aggression, intimidation or negative intention.
• Forcing of an opinion or derision of another's views.
• Personal attacks, insults, condemnation or flaming.
• Vulgar, foul or obscene language.
• Promotion or posting of any content that is illegal, sexually explicit or objectionable to any reasonable person.

If a member wants to interject general chit chat with discussion of a spiritual topic, we expect members to shift the flow of conversation to the new topic or move to another room. When asked to move to another room by a moderator, you agree to do so without question.

In order to protect personal space, if you would like to chat with another in Private Chat, but have not established a friendship with that person, you must first ask the other's permission in the Main Chat window. If you are approached by another who is not following this rule, please notify one of the moderators.
