Do you think that healing works on someone who does not believe in it?

And do you know what the difference is between healing and curing?

This is a great question. I am going to spill my thoughts to start.

I think the difference between healing and curing will have as many thoughts as birds in the sky. Curing would seem to be a healed or cured condition of a specific illness. Cured of a cold. Cured of cancer. Cured of the fear of crossing a bridge. It would be specific and measurable.

Healing to me implies ongoing improvement. Healing cancer... softer and more open to wide incorporation of improvement, some not even detected or seen yet.

I feel that a nonbeliever can always benefit from the results around them. It is not specific and measurable and should not be depended upon, but the sunshine shines on all of us whether we see it or not.

Thank you for your response.
I am not a healer, but I suddenly have an urge to find out more about it, for some reason. Partly because I suffer from a chronic conditon which causes me a lot of pain. I was little bit sceptical about this and then someone really helped me and it has made me want to know more.
The other day, I asked the first question that I asked in my OP and then someone mentioned that there was a difference between cure and healing and I wasn't sure if we were talking semantics, or if there was more to it. Especially, since the effects of the first help has worn off now.
So, I am very interested in your comments.
