Celestine, my introduction to the backpackers bible

It was many, many years ago when a guy came in my office in Costa Rica, he was a backpacker looking for a little assistance, one of those cosmic connections we love having, after a couple hours of good conversation he pulled from his backpack a paperback book that looked to be well read, he called it his backpackers bible. He was holding what he called an underground copy of The Celestine Prophecy, he said you could only get it if you were connected, I had to ask ¨connected to what?¨ ¨to a higher power¨ he said, wow that was cool a book connected to the universe what a great idea, i had to read it, he said he could only let me have it for two days because he would be moving on and needed to take it with him, so for the next couple days I connected to a higher power and dug in, I returned it with a big thanks and sent him on his way, I have to say it stretched me. Then just 6 months ago I was in the book section in a thrift store in So California and the 10th insight fell off the shelf and landed in my foot, I picked it up and laughed, I had found a backpackers bible of my own. I just finished reading it and wow I have to say I felt so supported, since I try to spend a couple hours a day healing the earth with positive energy and I have come to believe we are all connected in this very cool One World Vision called life. I love the positive energy that fills me every time I enter this site thank you all for that and may the Spirit bless your personal Vision.

Great story. Was his "backpackers bible" a version of the Celestine Prophecy we havent seen or another book?

From what I understand James had given out many copies of the Celestine Prophecy before it was picked up by a publisher, I think this was one of those copies. He said you could not buy it at that time. James is a great writer and its clear he has seen the future. I love the idea of a prayer group connecting energy and cant wait to connect to it. I have been part of a group of healers that connect at http://therapeuticreiki.com/blog/1-world-healing/ once a month at the full moon and I have been able to feel the energy rise as our group gets bigger, it works.
