Recently, I've been led to Rudolph Steiner and his many, many works and teachings/essays. Any of you studied this fellow? I'm intrigued with his brilliance, and how it fits into the theories and visions of J. Redfield.
Thanks, as always,
Lyndell

Hi Lyndell,

My passion is education and so I've been gathering many thoughts and feelings with what does and doesn't work in a child's education. I'll tell you one thing - I'm still a long way from an answer, but with newfound patience as my saviour, I'm always open to learn more.

I was first introduced to Steiner schools when I was WWOOFing in Australia. I came to the conclusion that the strong link between Steiner and the small independent organic farmer was one of a strong sense of the spiritual. However, I felt that, although the spiritual connection had created the institution, it was that spiritual energy that was lacking in the tuition. Perhaps that was just me, then.

Anyway, your post has inspired me to find out more about this man and his work... thank you!

By the way, I don't know why I'm writing this, but there you go... have you read Carl Jung's, Memories, Dreams and Reflections... truly inspirational!

Be blessed,
Pat

Hey Pat, aka Truth...
Thank you so much for your reply and inquiry. I found Steiner through a client that is also a professional psychologist here in our area. We share an interest in a technique/modality known as Rapid Eye Technology or RET. Suffice it to say that RET is an area that I have left undeveloped, though I was certified, only because of my profound interest in connecting to the things of the earth. I use that focus, literally in my practice with essential oils, reflexology, and good/superior nutrition. With that said, this client and I shared a lovely session this last week, and over lunch we visited at length about Rudolph Steiner. I was intrigued and went to his website, and then into his archives. His life on earth was amazing, and the works he left can be found in volumes....literally. One could get lost in this study, or 'found' as it were. I'm impressed that what I have read in his 'bold letters/titles,' parallels many of the same philosophies found in the C.P, series. For that reason, I inquired here and would surely enjoy discussing varied opinions and theories as they are uncovered and mastered by others.

You mention, Jung. It was years ago that I studied him, and then my education was very limited in B.S. studies, however, I have several of his 'associate's' books in my library, particularly...Marie-Louise von Franz. (Also I order from the C.G. Jung Foundation in New York, and there are many like minds there, as well.) A "coincidence' noted, Marie-Louise publishes with Shambala books in Boston. Ha!! I love her take on the Divine Feminine, as noted in Fairy tales, and also her view on Creation Myths. Thanks for peaking my interest in Jung...again, I'll go to the library and get this work you've recommended. It seems I always have my nose in a book these days. On a personal level, thank you, Pat, for your insight and posts here. I think you would enjoy Steiner, he has a beautiful sense of integrity in his quest for the spiritual. Your contributions here ring true of the same sense and feeling. You contribute very lovely words/energy, indeed.
Looking forward to the continuation of your posts
Lyndell

Hi all, nice to meet you!! I've been interested in Steiner for quite a while now, and had my first introduction through a biodynamics gardening conference. I was immediately impressed with his wisdom and integrity - I have time for anyone who believes in fairies!! More recently I'm checking out a Ba in Steiner Early Years Education. The more I read about Steiner schools, the more I wish I had gone to one myself, and I now believe that this is where my life path lies. In teaching children about the mystery and wonder of life.... Thank you for starting this thread!!! The whole celestine/birth vision/steiner thing has been crystalising for me over the last few days, and I was not even a tiny bit surprised to find a steiner thread when I searched for one...........Blessed be! Love and light to you all!
