PostPosted: Sun May 13, 2007 10:08 am    Post subject: Thanks. Reply with quote

Id like to thank youse for taking the time to think of my situation and try to solve my dilemma.
for some reason im thinking of taking both jobs and seeing how i get on.
If becomes to much then i can always quit if it gets on top of me.

Ive not had any recent dreams that stick out in my mind at the minute, but i will see if i can force a dream and see if im doing the right thing?

Again thanks for all the advice its good to listen to other opinions.

And im gunna try to get the book (the secret) as soon as possible, cheers theressa.
can you tell me what lol means please, i think it means, loads of love.

Im not sure why i doubt my self so much, but ive always bin strongly opinionated, so maybe when who im speaking to looks at me and thinks im wrong rather than just a smile?.

catch you later and thanks again.

P.S. it was strange that i wrote god instead of good?

Hi Eyeman,

LOL is computer shorthand for laugh out loud. There is a lot of shorthand that the kids use that I don't know but that one is for laughing though I like your version of it too.

It sounds like neither job stands out so I'd say you've made a wise decision to not rush into quiting either of them. But I do caution against trying to force a dream. One of the key lessons to learn in life is to let go of our expectations and let life happen as it will. Basically anytime you try to force your will about any aspect of life, life will not respond in the way we would like. Basically we are creative beings learning how to create without needing total control. Essentially create your world how you would like but let go of what the outcome will be because it will turn out to be what is best for all humanity. Using your dream as an example, basically ask that you have a dream revealing the best path to take and then let go of ever needing a dream to actually occur. You will have better success of having a memorable dream occuring if you don't need it to occur. If this isn't clear to you it will make more sense once you've watched the movie or bought the book The Secret.

Sincerely,
Michelle

Well i revoked my notice in one job today, and staight away i started to feel less stressed about the situation.
I also phoned my boss at my other job and he was pleased for me to, so it went well,

thanks for the advice and i will try and stay positive through this nervous time, it does mean some strange and long hours of work but i believe i can handle it. thanks again.

Hi Eyeman,

Well that was a good sign. The fact that you felt relief instead of uneasy when you took back your resignation probably means it may have been a mistake to leave. For whatever reaason maybe you are meant to keep both jobs for now until a clear idea of what you should do next appears for you. Awesome job following your instincts.

eyeman,

i am doing fine here, just got a little busy and can find little tmie to post here. i am really enjoying the book, i am making sure not rushing reading it so that i can absorbed everything. it is a good book, it got me right from the start. redfield is indeed talented.

i have read above this posts that you are inquiring about tai chi and bruce lee? are you interested or into some kind of martial arts? ive been doing tai chi for six years now, it is really good for the health and its martial art application is very useful. if you have some inquiries, i might be of help. although i admit i am far from mastery of the art.

i saw bruce lee's old movies but i am not really that familiar with the actor. why are you seem interested in him?

thanks a lot. hoping your'e all fine guys Very Happy

Yes indeed i do like bruce lee, ive watched all of his films and also watched a couple of his life stories and interviews, he is quite literally a ninja, or should i say was.
he was indeed becomeing very knoledgeable about all sorts of things deeper than the average man, and also trained alot of very famous people in that era, he studied all sorts of things to do with life in general, i look up to him as a martial artist, even now the people of today that study the arts cant touch his speed, power and inner self belief. An unreal person that if he waqs still alive today i beleive would have moved societies in general in the right direction.

About tai chi, its brilliant that youve studied for six years, and later in the book you will find out why i was asking. i want to change alot of things about my self, posture, moving around sometimes my mental attitude towards others as it is very hard to see and understand other peoples perspectives and to be able to agree and give back positive feedback, and also i would like to learn a good form of meditation.

ive been into afew different martial arts in my time, ive done karate, taekwondo, kickboxing, kung fu, and little boxing. Not to any big degree, but i would like to get time to get back into it.
Any info you have would be well appreciated.
hope to here from you soon. oh and by the way im feeling great today.

see you later.

Hi Eyeman, Alx and Michelle,

I've been a bit busy recently so haven't had time to post.

Michelle, thank you for your insightful post to me. I understood about the desperateness. The thing is the more I visualised the outcome I wanted the more I wanted it. Then I realised what I really want is to make a positive impact.

I got really confussed about the law of attraction once more!!!

Eyeman, Alx and Michelle, I did not get the job but I was very close and the feedback I got was very useful. But, things at my current job seem to be sorting themselves out. I am going with the flow right now and seeing what comes next.

I managed to finish the eleventh insight and I guess I am in a place right now where I am so, so confussed about the law of attraction. I have even put down the new secret book.

My ex has been trying to speak with my daughter on the computer.

Speak to you all soon
Theressa

~Hoping to be less confussed about the law of attraction soon~

hello everyone,

eyeman, tai chi is also a good art of meditation. it is actually the circulating of energy around your body, together with forms and movements that will help you to have great balance, rooting, and flexibility. it is more for the health benefits, the martial arts application is just a good bunos. all i know about bruce lee is that he created jet kune do, which is also an art of fighting.

theresa, i am now in the process of reading the shambala book. im in the part about doing things without expectations or attachments to its results. i think, in my own opinion, the same thing could be applied in attracting something. we could give visualize anything, give it energy and love but we should be free from expectations. knowing that we done what we should and things didnt turn out the way we visualized it means that whatever happens is the best result that turns out from our visualization. i have also realized that as you say that "the more you visualize it the more you wantd it" culd be an indication that you are forcing it too much in your mind? and things usually try to struggle when you put pressure on it.

i hope i am making a sense here. anyway, i think it is healthy that you seem not frustrated from the result of you not getting the job. you seem free from the expectations of results.

God bless to all...

Yes aLx you are making perfect sense. Letting go of expectations is a huge part of being able to attract what we want out of life. The reason is when we put expectations on things we are essentially judging what the outcome should be instead of letting the outcome be whatever it is suppose to be for what is best for all concerned. So very good point to make.

Theressa, it does sound as though even though you didn't get the job you still benefited from trying for it which in itself may have been the whole purpose for it. When the right job comes along at the right time for you to leave your current job it will all just work out perfectly for you.

Morning theressa,
just thought id say unlucky with the job, and i think things will sort out at your current job.
i think sometimes the more we want something the further it gets away from us, its good to here from you again, if you dont want your ex talking to your little one try and change her ID on computer. Its not fair that he is bringing her in to it, keep in touch dude.

Thanks alx, i must have sounded like a bit of bruce freak last night, it just came to me as i was on the computer, i will be investing in a dvd on tai chi, and learning to meditate as soon as i get it.

see youse in abit.

Hi Michelle, Alx and Eyeman,

Yes you guys and gals lol!! I hear you all. When it comes easily and effortlessly it is right for us!! Lol!!

I love my current job and my current team mates. I know that it was fear that made me want to swap jobs in the first place. I just did not want to be without a job. Also, I guess on some level I wanted to give back to my community and this would have been one way.

Then I got to thinking my community is the whole universe so maybe I already am giving back?

Thank you all of you
Theressa

Theressa,

Yes, you are very well helping the people you currently work with and that right now is more important than necessarily doing charity type work. When your purpose to be in each others lives has served its purpose then the job will end and you will move on to other purposes. It's all a perfect process.
