Now when one is caught into a drama , or about to , and realizes it ,if one connects with the Higuer Source and let the Love run through us to them (I do this by looking the person in the eyes and visualizing theis connection to the Source as a silver cord from their head up ) they ease up , and usually the drama drops ,and you can talk at a different ,higuer vibration.
That is why it is so critcally important that we mantain our connection to the Divine up and running so to speak.

Eaglesoul this is exactly what I am hoping to be able to do. Over the last few years (before I knew of The Celestine Prophecy, the ego and energy) there was a lot of conflict around me. I didn't react as I felt at the time that it would just make matters worse. But inside I was very hurt and angry. I did get drawn into conflict on occasion which wasn't helpful but I suppose that was my ego flaring up. I used to think I needed to explain my point of view to protect myself.

In October 2008 I learned of the ego and ways people try to get energy, and the universal energy which all makes a lot of sense. I have been practising being in the moment and being connected which has been beautiful and peaceful. I have found that conflict is still occurring which initially surprised me. The old feelings of fear/anxiety still happen as an initial response however I recognise that is simply a habit and by being in the moment and learning to let go and connecting the feelings subside. I am hoping to be in the moment in the face of conflict and somehow give this to the other person, spark a flash of awareness in them, connect with the other person. I don't feel I have achieved this yet. Is it still OK to set a boundary if someone's behaviour is unprofessional (at work) or is being in the moment and connected more helpful? At times I feel as though I am standing there allowing them to take as much energy as they want rather than bringing a different vibe to the situation.

On this note; I love the lyrics from a song by U2 "...I see an expression, so clear and so true, that it changes the atmosphere, when you walk into the room..."

Hi Lana,

I feel we still need to set boundaries on what we allow to impact us. It is like we wouldn't get into a cage with an animal that would bite us would we. I think it is about being clear about the energy we want to be around. However, sometimes our environment gives us clues about where our weak spots are. I also think that we need to be in the real world to grow. Thus, it is impossible to never be impacted by anyone. There is a saying/poem about a munk who went off to mediatate for years and years and then he came back down from the mountain and someone knocked into him and he got annoyed. I guess its about being human.

We just try our bests

love
Theressa

Tks for the feedback , glad it was useful.
Yes I agree with Theressa , we do our best all the time ... so keep practicing, when one looks for the lesson behind every encounter , the motivation is there ...meditation , prayer or some quiet time to center oneself each day has been the keyfor me , wont happen overnight but in time happens more and more...

Very Happy

Oh my goodness I am so excited to share this with you.

It has "started" happening - the really being aware and in the moment around conflict. It is sparking awareness in others - one of the early flashes for some, and strengthening it in others who already have quite a bit of awareness.

This is sooooooooooooo incredibly wonderful. I feel such joy and peace and hope for us all.

A while ago I was getting hung up on how to deal with conflict happening to me. I just needed to practise being fully aware at that time. But there is another part to it. It seems to involve fully accepting what is happening. Before I was resisting it when I knew it was happening and this was flaring the situation. I let go some more, and started accepting what was happening, even if it was conflict AND it works!

Not only are people starting to feel a little more aware at work (not all as they are all at different stages, just as I am) but it works over the phone! So the phone prayers we do here really work. I wasn't sure about it at the start as how could it work over the phone BUT I have been pratising fully accepting each call, what is said, even if the person is angry and it works! It's magic! Even the people who were calm in the first place have been saying at the end of the call "Oh...thank you for listening". They seem to sense the difference between good listening, and someone who is fully present and not resisting anything about the situation.

I really wanted to share this so that others who have been wondering about this can try it. The more awareness we all have, the better, for all of us as we all know.

LOVE to you all,
Lana.

Thank you for the replies, I do appreciate that.

Yes I think I understand now that there certainly are times when it is appropriate to protect ourselves with a good old boundary.

YAY. Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

OMG, Theressa you speak about someone I know that fits your description to a T.

Every time I tried to help her, it just seemed that she was in control and you had NO say in it.

I felt frustrated because everytime I tried to explain the situation, it was never good enough.

In the end I told her off, said I'm tired of playing stupid games with you, you don't want to hear the truth because you are hell bent on what you believe is true.

Because of all the crap that went on, she called 4 people she knows, just to call me back and say that these people say you are a mean person to me. I'm not a mean person, I'm tired of being someone's punching bag as long as I have been her so called friend, she's 42 going on 7.

Sad case is we don't talk as much any more, it's sad that it got to this point, but perhaps she can just live like I do everyday. I have my own baggage to deal with, it's just I don't need any more.

She has been that someone who if anyone in authority paying attention to her, she would talk babytalk just to get attention and it works everytime.

I used to feel that level of awareness, it comes every now and then.

I tried meditation once and fell asleep.

I try it every now and then, but not as much as I would like too.

I have picked up books to read, spending quiet time whether at home here or going out for green tea, parking somewhere and just reading.

Books I own now are called: Notes from the Universe, by Mike Dooley, The Art of Power, by Thich Nhat Hanh, The Ghost Files, by Jeff Belanger, Seeing the Dead, Talking with Spirits, by Alexandra Leclere, Ask and it is Given, by Esther & Jerry Hicks, JesusGate, by Grayson Warren Brown, Hours of Power, by Robert H. Schuller, How to talk with your Angels, by Kim O' Neill. I have one other, can't seem to find it but its called; Soul Visioning, I think it's in my vehicle.

I am waiting for another book to arrive in my mail called; The Psychic Codex written by Michelle Belanger.

In my mail I received this catalog that tells me a bit about what is going to happen, it is called Perhaps Today by Jack Van Impe Ministries.

It was really nice to read what is in it, but what moved me to tears was the letters they get . . .so many people have given their lives to God, so many that were in bad straight were saved because the show they watched on TV was that of the Van Impe's.

I always believed that if God didn't move you, I hoped that the Celestine Vision did.

Some of us have visions, whether is it just what is beyond the here and now, or you know of God. We search and long for more than what is here and now. I got into Kabbalah, Scientology and if my Mom didn't have dementia she would of given me heck . . .I was raised Catholic.

We all yearn for more, than our own religion, sometimes it falters to a level that you would love to reach a higher dimension than the one your on.

The people I know from this other forum I have led them here to my old stomping grounds. Even though it says I joined in 08, I have been around since the middle 90's when I got to know John who was the former web master for the Redfield's.

I don't know my old nick, and I didn't come back until I was told that the movie was out. Now I hear there is a movie in the deal (tenth insight) and that James is writing like crazy and still working on the 12th (to be written, finished and published), am I right?

Anyway . . .

I'm not on here to drive this down your throat and say you're wrong about everything, but to meet the many wonderful people that someday, I will meet you whoever you are, where ever you are, on here. You have much more to give, to share, to love and embrace one another, but most of all you have the ability to side step all boundaries in a spiritual sense and welcome everyone no matter what color you are, we are equal through and through.

God Bless / Namaste
