I was never a typical "meat and potatoes" kind of guy, but I did like meat to some extent. On Wednesday, I had a chicken dinner, and the whole time I was eating it... I was constantly thinking "Why am I eating this?!" and I noticed that when I ate that, I went from feeling positive, to simply lousy.
Lat year in August, I had a somewhat similar experience with alcohol. In the past, if I felt stressed, I'd go somewhere and get one Pina Colada, or some other kind of mixed drink. Whenever I would have alcohol, I never drank more than one glass in a day(sometimes 3 in a week, or in a month) but that one night in August... Was probably the last time for me to have more than a sip of a friend or family member's drink.
So, to conclude, I might be an Ovo Vegetarian(unless I start noticing my body rejecting eggs) and I have no plans on drinking alcohol, based on unconventional reasons, but unlike last year, I see that as a blessing as it helps me be stronger in my decisions about what I put into my body. Am I crazy for not taking the meat thing more slowly though? |

| It may be the meat and alcohol that made you sick, but it could also be beliefs about meat and alcohol that made you sick. If you want to try releasing all your beliefs and judgments about meat and alcohol you may be able to continue to enjoy them in good health. Something to consider, though - maybe you were asking yourself why you were eating the chicken because something was slightly wrong with the taste that particular time. |
