Hi All,
It just came to me that the outer is a reflection about my beliefs about me. But, I am struggling. Can anyone help me to see clearer???
If out there people are critical of me and in fact their criticisms are distorted and not based on realistic evidence. For example, a manager at the main contractors wrote to my manager and said that our performance is disappointing at least. Now I have worked hard and put in alot of effort in trying to establish this project. Also, I am told by my manager I am doing alot better than the last person. I am confussed, if this is the case then why is the main contractor saying this? Urm confussed? I know clients are not being referred. I know we need more clients? I've visualised them now what?
Is it that I have a distorted view of me that is being reflected out? I know I do alot of trying to convince these people by telling them what I've been doing but then they tell me I talk too much and they are busy.
I have been self praising. But this knocks me off balance and I become uncertain again.
Can anyone help me to work out how I can change my beliefs to change the outer. I am so stuck.
Namaste -
Blessings

Hi Theressa,
You are correct in that what you put out is what you get back. If you berate and judge yourself you are sure to come upon many who will do it also. But I don't know if this case necessarily qualifies. I think this may be a case of focus. Your focus is on doing a perfect job so you can get and/or retaining clients as opposed to just doing the best job you can do from your heart. Your focus is on fearing that you may not have any clients tomorrow if you don't do everything perfectly. They sense this fear and it makes them uncomfortable but they don't know how to identify it so they just criticize that you talk too much. So instead of worrying about whether your clients are going to stay or not just put your heart into the task at hand. When your heart is in it the clients will know. They may not know what the difference is but they will feel like you care and that goes a long way so much so that even if there are mess ups people are more forgiving because they don't feel threatened that all you want is their businees. And if they are not forgiving as long as you have put your heart into doing the task for the tasks sake then you have for sure done the best you possibly could and no matter the results it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks because you have worked from love. So instead of focusing on them and us, client and worker, focus on your union as a partnership. You are on the same team striving towards the same goal.
Sincerely,
Michelle |
