I wanted to pray with the Global Prayer today, for personal and social reasons ...feel this year had been a lesson in Uncertainty .
After many weeks being very busy suddenly since past week, the activities in counseling diminished dramatically for me.
Worried for my income at first, that has been a source of stress all year , and was finally getting better after much prosperity work ,I thought what is it now?...was puzzled .
Then after learning about the August portal through different venues the same week I realized it was a time for meditation and prayer...so I¨ve been doing that.
Tonight as said I wanted to pray with you all, felt the need to do so.
The day here has been tense and charged with expectation , the students had called for yet another protest and since the last one was marked by violence, the feeling was -what will happen now?
Syncronistically I got today a story of a dear friend being a participant on a fearful clash between police and a group of neighbors from a building in front of the events on that eve, last Thursday ... in short agressive behavior from the law enforc.agents, they did break into the building (closed) and tore an appartment door apart.
Political views of the situation had been stretched and danger of more extreme positions are on the air....it was said to be mostly peaceful than last one but people was afraid to participate anyway.
So I prepared to do prayer ...lighted my candle and burn my inciense...and clicked.But Google Chrome could not get the gadget in the Prayer page to load...it had never happened before, but decided to do it anyway, I clicked on
last gatherings and was taken into a prayer...never knew if it was today´s prayer...but it did not matter much since time is relative, right?
Then while praying there were sirens and fire alarms sounding loud as protestors were still on the streets and then James asks for those that are the first to arrive on violent scenes,it was great timing!
felt that at this moment more than ever how much the Prayer intercession was necessary.
It is always good, but now more than ever...I have always believed in the power of prayer but this time I knew that all these social movements going on around the world get positively "Lighted" if we engage in prayer right when they are happening....timing was perfect and there was an amazing sense of peace afterwards.Streets felt quiet too.
So I write my experience here to thank you all for being part of the Light ring once again, for the Light anchoring, and to encourage others to do it too..it works !!!!
