Hi,
In late 1996, I was reading the Celestine Prophesy when it first came out. Friends recommended it as a light wowo kind of read and I read it in that light. I thought it was an interesting story at the time and that the protagonist
was either unlucky or gullible or both, but the story seemed to have a happy ending, so I liked it overall. I remember being into Indiana Jones, E.T. and Star Trek for adventure, so the Prophesy had stiff competition. However, as I grew older into the 2000's I began reading more earthy, light oriented authors including recently reading the Ringing Cedars of Russia series (see http://www.ringingcedars.com/ ), I finally had an insight as to the possibilities in James books for living fully as a human being. It would be wonderful if others were discussing these possibilities also.
