I love this inspiring prayer, in alignment with the 12th Insight re: "ever-present help of the spiritual world."
"We must eradicate from the soul all fear and terror of what comes towards Man, out of the future. We must acquire serenity in all feelings and sensations about the future.
We must look forward with absolute equanimity to everything that may come. And we must think only that whatever comes is given to us by a world-directive full of wisdom.
It is part of what we must learn in this age, namely, to live out of pure trust, without any security in existence - trust in the ever-present help of the spiritual world.
Truly, nothing else will do if our courage is not to fail us.
And let us seek the awakening from within ourselves, every morning and every evening."
-Rudolph Steiner
Many blessings to my family in spirit,

Vivien,
This is beautiful. I particularly like the part about looking to everything that happens with equanimity.
A recent experience of mine was horrible to go through and the repercussions continue, but it was essential for progression to continue.
Consequences for wrongs need to be acknowledged as good things - correcting our paths. And they may be seen as educational for those who witness others experiencing those consequences.
Shame for mistakes keeps a great many consequences covered. So does the plaque of pills and alcohol.
Prior to this day, I always had a hard time with my thought that God wasn't punishing everyone the same way... that some people seem to be allowed to be greedy, cheat and steal.
I believe now that God does try to correct them, but they numb the pain.
Courage to face the pain of our mistakes... courage to trust that its for the best, and that we are being guided.
Have courage friends, and PRAY on your knees. _________________ Sister G0$he |
