Greetings from Bulgaria Merry Christmas everybody







I want to start this topic and ask everyone when did this book come in your life and what did she add to it.







For me the Celestine Prophecy came in just the right time.I was having a large number of thoughts about life and i was unable to arrange them in a meaningful line.



This book was able to give me the right answers needed to fill the gaps in my thoughts.I will never forget the night i read it.I was glued to the wall next to my bad and i cryed feeling happy that somoene somewhere is thinking the same way about life as i did and even more this person gived me just what i needed to understand all the thoughts in my head.



By that time i was feeling so lonely because i couldn't share myself with other people because they just don't care about theyre lives and they don't want to understand and find the answers to all the "why?"s.



That's why i wish to thank James because he touched a lonely and sad soul and gived me the knowledge to enlighten my life.



Thank you James.



This book made it possible for me to continue evolving to the diraction i wanted.And looking at the past i can say that without it i was going to be a blind and lost soul walking this earth.



No book can give all the knowledge you will ever need and that's why right now i'm reading the Bible.But without this book i was a lost sheep in the woods.



Right now i'm living the life i want.And james Redfield with his book take a large credit for that.

In reply, I feel with you, thank you for sharing and thank you to James Redfield, too, for writing his books. I read CP in 1995. I just noticed now it was written the year my daughter was born and the year after my son. I had known about energy fields and other topics all my life, but the message that I most wanted ad needed at the time I read the first book was about communicating with children. Today, my children are 12 and 13 and at a time when people say is the most diifficult for parenting, I actually have the most awesome relationship with my children. Thank you again James Redfield.

Hi there, yes, I read CP in the middle of 1990's, right after I graduated from college and loved it... I loved how James explained the energy auras we have and that the earth had, that we are in constant communication with life outside of me without us knowing it. It made a lot of sense to me... around that time, there was a discovery related to trees... that they had an abilitiy to communicate with other trees, especially when they were stricken with disease, so that the other trees could bloster up the defense mechansims against the diseases.







Actually I was introduced to this concept (the energy vibes) when I was in high school, from a crush on my ecology teacher... that we had light in us and the power to do good. Of course I was an insecure girl back then and I have changed a lot, I am more positive about the way the life is treating me (I hope so )







I am looking forward to seeing this movie... I hope it will be closed-captioned since I am hearing impaired.

Somewhere, I read trees have memories and they remember us, people who have walked past them daily and admired them, projecting our energy to them. Maybe that's why we get chills and other feelings when we return to childhood playgrounds, etc.

It has been quite a while since I've read this book. I can't really remember exactly when. I know it was after my divorce so it's been at least 9 years ago. It was one of those books that I just couldn't put down and made me really take a look at me and my life at that time. That was a while ago, and now that I have started thinking about this again, I think I will pull out the books (I have them all) and reread them. It is probably time to do that.

it was just last year 2004.i accidentally came in contact with the book when i searched the library for books on tai chi. i have been in tai chi for years now, i decided to check books to see if they're teaching good stuffs. i was just strolling around when the book caught my sight, i dont know its something about the book that makes me open it. the very page that i accidentally opened talks about the energy, which relates to my tai chi knowledge. i decided to take the book. damn! it hits me and answers some of my questions...

The Celestine Prophesy book came into my life in the early '90s. There was nothing especially traumatic going on for me, I'd just passed through some tough times but was at an even keel by the time I picked up the book. However, reading it and all those that followed have changed not only my life, but the life of one of my younger brothers, and his children, whom he raised by teaching these insights and using them with them. Needless to say, his children are personalities to contend with now that they are grown!







I'd say that was a lot of influence for these books in just one family's lives. Thank you for the books Mr. Redfield. Oh, and the insights in the Shambala book work exceedingly well and quickly. It's tremendously difficult to stay consistent though!

The gifts I have received from reading J.Redfields books are touching so many levels of my esoteric yourney. One of the biggest gift is that I felt that even though the communities I live in, in different cities / countries, are what they are, there is a higher community of souls worldwide in which we belong, which is journeying to the exact same direction of liberation. How old are your brothers children? You say they are a force to contend with, well, have them help get the word out to their generation!

My brother's children are now between 17 and 23 years of age. The reason they are forces to contend with is that they don't only get the word out, they live it and explain it which is really weird to see in people their age. I'd say that Mr. Redfield has set ripples going in this family's pond that will affect a lot of people for some time. I think that was the point though.

I found Celestine Prophecy in 93! It was a joy to see it become a phenomenon and worldwide bestseller. I started looking differently at folks around me, realizing that the spiritual longing I had inside me was something we all shared (despite appearances and control dramas!).







I hope the movie is a huge success and touches even more people than the book did.

I am fantastically happy to see that CP will, at long last, be a movie. When I first got a copy in a "new age/ wiccan" book store around 1997, I asked around for an on-going practice group. But after some meandering, I just got a couple of extra copies and lend them to newly-encountered seekers. I often bring into new relationships an awareness of the control drama concept. People are so closed minded, usually, even in the face of reason and the evidence of their own eyes.

I started reading the CP in late 1994. I was looking at several branches on a Spiritual level and the CP lifted me and showed me so many good things. It felt so real!! Also I have just gone through some really bad experiences and the CP was just the type of encouragement I needed to get back on my feet again. When I was half way through it a friend of mine wanted to read it w/ me so I started to re-read it again w/ him in 1995 from the beginning.







Later my 'friend' and I studied the CP Experiential Guide together, it was a great experience, in every way, emotionally, mentally and spiritually!







That same friend and I wind up falling in love and is my husband today; we were married in 2001.

I came across CP in 2003 and it opened a door to a new world. I was searching for a Spiritual Path that I felt comfortable with. The door that opened was one of Non-Traditional Spirituality that is accepting of all beliefs. I am a practicing Wiccan/Pagan and am raising my children to find their own path while respecting the beliefs of others.
