hello, i watched the video and wanted to say i have had similar thoughts about being projections of our future selves. In other words, picture this for me... A shadow is a 2 dimensional projection of a three dimensional object. And the 3 dimensional object is a projection of what????

This doesn't really change anything for me... I've always been more of a chemistry/biochemistry person, and I understand atoms and physics and quantum physics... at some level at least... the show presents a neat idea, but it doesn't change anything.

My religion teaches that everyone of us, if we choose, can become like God. And God wants to share everything he has with us (opposite of what the Devil is trying to do) God wants us to become like Him. Which would mean we're all becoming Gods.

My religion also teaches that all spirit is matter only is a more pure form.

I think it's funny that some humans need something else that is concrete to believe in a God - like suggesting its a computer program, when we already have God's word in the scriptures! It's already in English, already printed, why does it need to be in a "code?" Perhaps these people don't want to accept everything in the scriptures so they are looking for a way around the things they don't want to accept...

I think its even simpler than all of that: THOUGHTS become things-nothing needs to be programmed into a computer. It's in the scriptures:

"Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear." Hebews 11:3


I know many people have become disenchanted with many of the world's religions and I believe that is because many religions don't have the whole truth... they only have parts... I see a great deal of value in different religions having focus on different parts so each part can be better understood by those who've explored it deeply... but without the whole truth the religion doesn't have the full 'magic' people expect from our Creator. I believe there is a true religion out there that has the whole truth and is magical, and everything every scientist will ever discover will already be there and it will be in God's words, not in an indirect vocabulary.

On which are/were you starting a discussion, the black holes part or the universe is made of pixels (we're a computer program) part?
