Wondering if everyone else thought the first of the Celestine series was the best too. I'm not sure if Celestine Prophesy was just so new and exciting to me or if it really is the 'deepest and most meaningful' of all the Celestine collection. And also, which other books are Celestine fans reading these days? Curious if some of our 'educational' (books, web sites, etc.) journeys are similar. Have any of you gone through the workbook or joined actual discussion groups? --- traveler |

I loved all three books.
The first one was definitley my favorite though.
It changed my whole perspective on things
and most of all changed my life.
I'm finishing the third one now though. |

Hi everyone, just want to give my input on the book, I read the first book when I was 16 years old, and I'm going to read it again now, 5 years later! It was a present from my dad, I loved it soo much, I was looking at trees' energy outside of my house or on my way to school everyday!! It was great! I really loved it! My father is a Reiki Master Teacher and a Doctor of Neprapathy now, and many other things, but I've always loved that mysterious part within ourselves. I am now more into it and trying to meditate everyday to be more "open" and I have my dad helping me a lot as well. I really can't wait to read the rest of the books though, it's soo exciting and real! Thanks for reading! |

I read the Celestine Prophecy..wow..it's almost been 9 years ago now. I am getting ready to read it again. I followed the reading with the ninth insight and also used the workbook. During my experience with reading the Celestine Prophecy, I had the wonderful pleasure of someone introducing another book to me. This other book really opened some other doors of inner peace..and I have to say...the two books together flipped my life into the directions that I have been searching for. It's amazing where life leads you when you allow it to lead.
I really recommend anyone interested to check out "Real Magic" by Dr. Wayne Dyer. It's an excellent read. |

Like others here, I am currently re-reading the books. I am so grateful I came across the ad for the movie. I needed at this time in my life to review the messages and re-connect. Presently, I am nearly finished CP, but I will write again when I have re-read the others, to "vote" for favourite. _________________ One Love |

| I agree with you... I should read it again... but I don't know where I put it. I guess I have to buy it...to really re-absorb it. |

| [Real Magic? Okay, I will check it out. I love it when there are people who think similar... sure makes me feel I am not alone! When I was in high school, I found myself thinking differently and I felt somewhat alone... I felt alone throughout high school and college years. It was hard to find any hearing impaired people who thought like I did (I learned recently that one of my old friends thought similar and I was pleasantly surprised.) My 8 year old son is exposed to it and he likes the idea of positive energy surrounding around us and in us. |

|
|
| Kingdom of Heaven asked what the readers of The Celestine Prophecy are reading now. One book is a new one called The Path: A Spiritual Journey. Like the Celestine Prophecy, it's a "journey" book---about a boy who travels the old Silk Road, meeting people from different cultures and religions. Originally convinced that his own religion is the "right" one, he finds that other religions have much to offer. In fact, the teachings of all the religions he encounters are very similar. OK, so how do I know about this book? Yep, I wrote it. After many years of reading books like The Celestine Prophecy, Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance, and other books that explore life's meaning, I decided to try to put my own thoughts into a book. It's a great adventure, and I encourage others to try it. You can see more about The Path on www.thepathbook.com. As for what I'm reading right now, it's The Alchemist, by Paulo Coelho. Anybody read it? |

Yes, (big smiles) I read The Alchemist. Very good book. Thanks for reminding me about it because that's another I should re-read. I can't believe how I forget things. _________________ One Love |

| Traveler: I've read the Celestine books up to the Shambala book. I also worked with the Experiential Guide and it was one of the hardest things I've ever done because you have to ask yourself (and answer) brutally honest questions to actually get anything out of the exercise. Still, once done, you definitely have a clearer idea of who you are as a person, or at least I thought I did. I dedicated about a week to each chapter and in some cases a bit longer if they were tougher for me. How about you? What did you feel after having gone through the Experiential Guide book? |

Well I've just began with the series, and Ive read The Celestine Prophecy and now reading The Celestine Vision. So I guess I cant really pick a favorite yet.
About Spreading the word, I've bought the book for friends as presents, and how much I would love to have a group gathering about it. My one friend, that introduced the book to me, is the only other person I know that talks much about it, besides me. The forums are good though, for these types of things as well. Usually around people that have never heard of it, I start rambling on about it and by the end of the conversation they will have told me they now want to read it. I wish I could buy a few books and just make it into something, where we just pass it on to someone who you think would do some good for. I cant wait until I read more of the books, Im a slow reader though.. So it may take awhile.
