Hi everyone,
I was wondering if anyone has a place where the energy is especially significant to them. That is to say, somewhere you go, outside of your usual, home/work/school environments where you can go to feel connected to the Divine Energy, meditate, and recharge.
For me, that place is Washington National Cathedral in Northwest Washington, DC. I visited for the first time last August and was awestruck by it. Now, I try to take a monthly pilgrimage there to relax and recharge. Between Spring and late Fall, the Bishop's Garden is especially beautiful and lively. The Cathedral itself is pegged as a National House of Prayer for people of all faiths. The spirit of the place certainly supports it. There have been times when I've taken off from work just to go there, to write, to be still and in the moment, and when I leave, my energy is off the chart.
