Does anyone else here see light particles during meditation?

I am 24 and I have been blazing a spiritual path now for 5 years. Often during deep focus meditations, I fix my vision in a way not unlike what the book describes. I will see what literally has to be trillions of light particles moving very chaotically and very fast. When I say particles, I mean these things are small, and they are so fast that you can't follow one for more than a split second. Its like you see one and then it disappears.







Does anyone else see these when they are in the flow? I liken it to when someones says they are "seeing stars" just after they get knocked out. Please reply if you think you know...or if you know you know....or if you know without knowing how you know.

Usually It happens when I sneeze, for real or if I working physically very hard. So I wonder if it has something with preasure created on the eyes. When I get this experiance I've now been able to keep that experiance for up to 30 seconds and follow those "stars" which is not simple but I've noticed that there are som black dots also floating around but very few. The black dots made my think that maybe it has something to do with the pressure.. But hope someone have an answere ..

I have seen lights very similar. Pinpoints of bright lights. Sometimes white, sometimes blue.



I have been advised that they were simply "floaters" a comman physical occurance.



However, I am not so sure. I think I have had floaters but I think that times when my energy levels were high and I had begun to vibrate higher that I was actually seeing into other dimensions. I believe it to be the angels who have come to help us at this time.

I see millions of lights floating around all the time. Some are pin pricks, some are elongated, some are bright white, others have blue auras. They move quite quickly. It is God energy, prana, angels all mixed together. If I look off to the side, I can see them all the time. If I am particulary tuned into spirit ...having meditated or prayed...watch out its an amazing light show...as I believe that in prayer and meditation, calls the beings of higher light and love to you. in fact i just looked up from my computer and saw them...they were not so bright, but as soon as I called in my guardian angels and guides and asked to see more angels....the room lit up!



I've seen these since I was a child...I think that when I was little they even spoke to me.



they are NOT floaters...Floaters are little "cobwebs" or specks that

float about in your field of vision. They are small, dark, shadowy shapes...i've seen these also.

A few Years ago, I saw the lights quite often. Then when I got depresseed and started eating wrong, got back into my "poor me" drama, I stopped seeing them.



Yesterday, I put on some nice music. A minute or so later the lights were dancing around me. I got that nice feeling again of something so very nice and beautiful. For a few moments, I again had that feeling of connecting to someone(Angels,,,, God) If all those pretty liglhts were "floaters" why did so many come with that wonderful music?? And why did such lights give me such a feeling of well being and of being loved and appreciated???

When I was a young child until I turned 10 to 11 years old (1975) I distinctly remember, and have since attempted to duplicate a phenomena that could be decribed as light particles. But in my case, when I focused on space, inbetween me and a given object in a room or outside, I would see small "bubbles" or spheres, outlined in light, that would sometimes stream in a succession of mulitiple spheres, or other times appear in random, dancing motion that would gently melt from view. These spheres were no more than a centimeter or less in size, and I recall asking friends, and one time a teacher if they could see them. Of course, my friends only laughed, but my teacher seemed genuinely interested but could not explain, nor see what I was experiencing. As I got older, I gradually "lost" my ability to "see" these small, delightful bubbles. And now, as an adult that has read the celestine prophesy, I truly wish I could experience the gift, I had once been blessed with.

I share the same visual experience as described by the original author of this post. I discovered when I began trying to "stop the world" (Casteneda) in my early twenties. I would focus my attention on my visual periphery and flood my awareness. I would first find myself typically noticing the floaters, which I believe are retinal scars, and physical visual distortions from tears and artifacts, that one usually looks past. Then as I became more adept, I began to briefly shut off my internal dialog and see the flashes of light. I never did a lot of research into what physical factors might account for it, for I quickly became focused on various strange new experiences and never followed up on it. I can still see this effect pretty much any time I focus on seeing it. The following is an example of one of the other experiences - I was meditating outside one afternoon and as I focused on a spot in the sky, a bird flew into my view and proceeded to circle the spot I was focused on. It was one of the early experiences that demonstrated the interconnectedness of things and began to challenge my materialist world view. Another "visual phenomenon that I can share I also relate to the Casteneda work. He refers in his earlier work to the "lines of the world" and later defines it as "emanations at large". I too became able to see this. It appears to me as an underlying webbing or network of pastel, multi-colored energy tubes. Similar to fiber optics, yet more ephemeral. They have no discernable beginning or end and can be seen infusing and running through everything. My working theory is that this is not a visual physical artifact or an illusion, but a real ability to "see" or sense as a visual effect, a deeper interconnecting and underlying energy level. I have watched birds flying and accurately predicted their flight path along these lines of energy. Also, about the same time in my "journey? I began to have an uncanny ability to find things. I would typically look until I had exhausted my usual method of searching, and just when I would give up in frustration, there it would be. It got to the point where I began to notice this process yet if I thought about it, it wouldn't work. However, every time I would forget about the "gift" it worked and it continued for several years. It still happens, although it is more a knowing of where the object is. One more point - If you are really curious to understand these types of phenomenon I recommend checking out some good books on Buddhist meditation practices. There is nothing new under the sun. Some of these experiences are so common, especially with novices, that they are discouraged from becoming distracted by them. I found that they only served to fuel my curiosity and sense of wonder. In case you are curious- 30 years later, I still seem to live in a universe that will not fit in a 3 dimensional box. I am still filled with a sense of wonder at the magical nature of experience, my ethics are derived by a real and provable understanding of the interconnectedness and multi-dimensional nature of the universe (at least the facts are still fitting the theory as they come in), and I still am a struggling human, on a planet where everything is ultimately predator or prey (Yin or Yang). That is until I die. Then, one of two things will transpire. I will cease to be and get some much needed sleep (oh yeah!) or I will still exist in some form and in that case - bring it on!

Yes I am aware of these lights as well. I first noticed them one day outside playing in the snow, with the sunlight outside.



I think they are our protectors in some sense, but basically what people said above my post is the Truth.



They are the energy of the Universe, that space between you and your computer screen that keeps us together.



Yet the most beautiful thing I haven't heard anyone here say, is that you can influence these particles of Light for the betterment of Humanity and for yourself. You can use your thoughts to use this energy inorder to send it to other people, and other material objects to come into your life.

I'm fascinated by the abilities of so many respondents to this topic. Those of you who have seen these lights/energies and, particularly to those that have learned to USE them to some extent... and these energies CAN be used and directed for the betterment of mankind, specifically and in general.

tacamojoe - firstly, you haven't stopped seeing these bubbles. Secondly, you need to reduce your filtration of them, for that is what I think you are doing.



My suggestion for a quick fix is to become very rested and watch without focussing both mentally and visually in to an empty space in a half-lit room where people walk past against a uniform backdrop. In other words, get yourself down to your local pub where you can really chill out, enjoy a pint or two, then watch lazily as people move about. I think this is perhaps the easiest and most enjoyable way to see energetically for the "first" time. Once you see it, you'll think "ooh! I've always seen that!" and marvel at how you missed it for so long. Once you have this moment, then you will see the "psychic rain" which is a bit like Cork City on a sunny day (an Irish injoke *lol*) swirling about you.



If you release all expectations and feel a warmth and lovingness within your heart (which a pint of beer might really help with, although some folks go the other way) then it will come, it will come.

My experience with this is that as we develop energetically, so the sparks/bubbles/mist whathaveyou are like the tips of energetic icebergs. We are going beyond normally perceived three dimensions here, but what we are perceiving is still rendered in three dimensions for that is how our brain is conditioned to function. However, these specks... are not specks really. They will develop in to lines and whisps, they will burst with colour and they will also have no colour at all. As we progress they become more solid for us and we begin to perceive the shapes of a presence in whatever form that takes. But anyway, it's not what we see, it's how we join and emote with it. Extra dimensional perception is not just visual, it's entirely sensual and it begins within our heart.

I have a different experience. I see a glow about things. I can only describe the glow like this.



If I am looking at the side of a building, if I stop and really look I will see a for lack of a better term, ghostly image running down the side of the wall as if the building continues on past the physical edge of the building. It is as if the building extends beyond the point of the physical aspects into an ethereal zone. If I had to put a measurement on this extension I would say it extends maybe another two or three feet.



This glow seems highlighted and follows the exact contours of whatever object I am looking at. I really see this at night as I see a blue or lighter glow image extending beyond the physical perimeter of the image. Trees glow exceptionally well as does the mountain ridges in the area where I live. For some reason I think that living things, vegetation glow better than inert objects, but they all glow.



I tend to see this in landscapes, that is the glow is about the whole tree rather than following the contour of every leaf or branch but if I look closer I have seen this effect around individual leaves.



There is another effect I observe as well. If I really go into my thoughts and do what is termed a thousand yard stare but in reality am looking at a wall I see other shapes in the room. If I move or do anything to break the concentration the images go away.



Inters tingly these seem like other pieces of furniture or other straightline type structures as opposed to people moving about. Sometimes the color scheme of the room shifts into a red or yellow hue.



When I meditate lately I have been rewarded with a bright light rather than flashing lights or small points of light.

I see this kind of stuff all the time. I see everything as energy as black and white energy dots everywhere like pixels. Especially when the room is dark/black as in night. It's like a television screen with no signal, just pure black and white energy scrambling but much more refined, much smaller pixels.



Also, when I close my eyes I often see blue patterns travelling away from me i.e. they get smaller as if I'm travelling in a tunnel backwards and sometimes the other way around.



I see energy running up and down edges of doors, edges of where walls meet, edges of furniture, pretty much everything.



I usually don't see these things unless I focus on it - I don't have to make a real effort to see them, what I mean about not being able to see them without focus is that I - as many people do - get so caught up in daily living and thoughts that I don't pay attention to seeing it, but the moment I look without having my mind wander to everything else I can see it right away.



I've seen energy - bright blue with bright yellow - going around my fingers and when I point my fingers at eachother I see the energy flowing. This takes time and concentration though.



I do not think I can see into different dimensions though, something I wish I could and I'm sure I will be able to with more focus.
