Not long ago, I experienced my first "Celestine" moment. I was reading the book in an airport lounge during a layover. When it was getting close to boarding time, I dashed to the restroom and then headed for my plane. That's went things got a little strange. As I passed the table where I had been sitting, I noticed a guy sitting in what had been my seat, reading my book. I politely excused myself and asked for my book back. He got a funny smile and proceeded to mention that his sister had just given him the book the day before. Needless to say, I was more than a little embarrased when I discovered my own copy tucked in my carry-on. By the time we sorted it out, I had missed my plane! Which turned out not too be such a bad thing as we spent the next two hours discussing the fourth insight. We've spent the time since running up our phone bill and negotiating over where to see the movie when it finally comes out. He lives in Portland. I live in Miami. If you're reading this James Redfield, let's get a move on!

I can't wait to experience that "Celestine Moment" in a theater full of people experiencing it at the same time.

Thank you for sharing your "Celestine" Moment. It was wonderful to read. Wouldn't it be fun if we ALL shared one of our "Celestine Moments? Thank you starting this thread.

I have one, too. In 1996 I was in a confusing place in my life, was seeing a several-year run of strange coincidences carrying me from place to tplace that clearly showed something other than me had been leading my life. I thought I was going nuts, shared it all with an out-of-town friend who then told me there was a book I HAD to read. Like I was in the mood to read a book!!! Well, the Universe must have figured that out because three days later he called back to tell me a trip to my area had suddenly come up for him and, he was bringing me the book. Meaning - I was MEANT TO READ IT! But of course, given my confused state of mind, the first chapter on coincidences - new word synchronicity - blew me away. I was hooked!!!! Celestine Prophecy answered so many questions about things I'd been experiencing. It truly set me off on a new way of thinking and viewing the world - and, of course, a whole new run of synchronicities!!!!

Thank you James!!!!

Hi

The books have given me fresh awareness of what I feel I was experiencing already without the consciousness and awareness - instinctively or intuitively. Its all in black and white that these things do happen... coincidences or synchronicity and it all has started making sense and has raised my wavelength and am waking up and am evolving so rapidly..... I am experiencing life and nature!

Oh, yes, tell me about it... we see people go about their lives in their ignorance... it is amazing at how blind we have been, thanks to the rigid "religious" institution (making it very clear that we were separate, not part of, from God or whatever people call... Allah, Being, Jesus, etc.) WE are part of the energy, that we have purpose, or otherwise we would not be seeing a lot of "coincidences" in our lives!

ive been into tai chi for years now. i feel the strenght it gives me, the power and the health benefits that comes with it. but i know theres something lacking, cant relate it spiritualy.

i was once scanning the library for books, when the CP came to my attention. i just thought its just a mere fiction book, when i open it the first thing i saw is about energy, which relates to my tai chi study.

the book just caught my attention, its like illumination as james said. it came at the right time. now everything is in synch... Smile

this could considered as a celestine moment, i think...

It's really great to see all these "Celestine moments" from so many people far and wide.

My first celestine moment isn't particularly impressive. I was in a book store, saw the book (Celestine Prophesy), picked it up, put it back. Picked it up again, put it back again. Did this three times before I figured I must need to read the book so I bought it. I've bought and read all of the Celestine books since. The toughest one to go through was the Guide book. Talk about stripping layers! Has anyone else tried to sit down and use the guide book to walk through your own life story and work out your possible path?

I have read the guide book and many others writen by diffrent people. They can be difficult to do. I dont know if this will help but when I read them I let the moment happen if I lose intrest with a particular chaperter I skip to the next or go backward. We all learn diffrently just go with the moment and dont think the rules are set in stone. Do what ye will. If you have a stron intrest in one chapter and not another go fo it usualy you will find the intrest in the rest when its meant to be there and remember you dont have to learn a years knowledge in a day fun but exausting. And maybe a person or thing symbolic to a chapter is not ready to happen yet so waiting is not a bad thing. Let the moment help you finish what was planned or ..... go with the flow.

Best wishes Tammy

In retrospect, my earliest significant Celestine Moment took place when I was about 10 years old. My life was seriously in danger. It was a cold night in a New York tenement. A violent, angry man was after me with a butcher knife. My parent, with little means and severe problems in every aspect of her life, was unable to protect me. She was also perpetually angry, violent, and ineffectually manipulative, and I knew she might even see this situation as a way to get rid of me, her problem. Sitting on the fire-escape, where she put me, perhaps out of reach of that crazy guy, with the window closed behind me, I was aware that I might die soon while my mom's shouting commotion continued in the apartment.

That was the winter of 1962/3.

I will not describe the complete details here. But I then had a vision of an energy object. I felt a communication. And, as a consequence of a small action I took, inspired by this semi-real visualization, someone from a neighboring apartment opened her window. I was taken into that person's apartment through their window, and shortly after taken to a hospital, since she and her two companions could plainly see that I was also very ill. These people were very warm. Their apartment was, to me, amazingly clean and orderly by comparison to the different places I lived, in filth and danger, and even sometimes sleeping in a shelter or subway. There was soft music in their place. They had cheerful decorations and most of all they treated me with care and concern. All three of these individuals were clearly of African ancestry. As a poor caucasian child, I had only come into close contact with white, Chinese, and Puerto Rican people at that point. I have never liked the term, "Black," perhaps because my mysterious rescuers seemed to glow, in my memory.

I never encountered these three after this event, after a 2 week hospital stay. I have always remembered their great loving energy, when I later understood that this is what I was feeling from them, and I'm sure it has elevated my spirit permanently; a low place was made high.

I'm sure you can see, now, how reading the first Celestine Prophecy would call this episode to my mind. It was wonderful to read part of my life and see new meaning in the phenomenon. Looking back, I see the control drama. I "see" the positive and negative energy flows during that encounter, and I have remained hypervigilent. Because of the Insights' paradigm, I have a stronger understanding of what my visualization was (the rescuing energy object). ... And that I may call upon it again.

Love&Peace, Everyone !

I have been going thru a very difficult time in my life for the past 8 months, even though I felt it was a ?difficult? time I have been able to see many good things arising from the negative energy brought on by others. I still however questioned why was this happening to me.

Then one day I decided to gather all of the books we have and arrange them on a new bookshelf by category, cooking, gardening, self help ECT. We have a hundred or so books, none of them actually caught my eye except, you guessed it, the Celestine Prophecy, something about it had energy but I chose to ignore it and filled it on the shelf with the others. A week or so latter my Wife and I where visiting a counselor who was amazed at some of the ?coincidental? things that have happened in my life and since this situation arose 8 months ago and suggested that I should read a book named The Celestine Prophecy. My wife speaks up and says she had bought it but felt it was hard to understand so she didn?t read it. I realized it was the book I felt connected to, needless to say that night I went to find it. Yes it was the first one I pulled out, which I found to be interesting and started reading it.

The only thing I can say is how did James Redfield know how to write a book that spoke so directly to me, almost for me? I have finished this book and about to go get some of the others but looked at the web sight first and felt I had to write this. I now know that when I would have a bad day and feel the poor pitiful me syndrome it was because I was allowing the people who have hurt me draw my Energy from me. I have now been focusing on giving them my energy freely so they can not steal it from me and make me feel bad. I also know my wife was not ready to understand the book at that time, when she is ready I know she will read it.

Thank you for reading my Celestine moment, I hope the book speaks directly to you as it did me. By the way the one thing I did get from it; if we Love and have no hate as Jesus did, we will not be burdened or weighed down and we too can walk on water.

I've always been able to feel more and work more with the Love and emotions around me. Its only when I tried to shut it down that I didn't feel like I was myself anymore. Like I was looking at an empty picture when I looked in the mirror.

My true first insight however was just a couple of nights ago during one of the long rains here in seattle.

I dont know if I know how to put it into words, but everything just seemed to flow right. I could... 'see' for lack of a better term what I'd only caught glimspses of and waqs never quite sure if I had gotten right or not.

I remember the sensation of pure joy it put in through me, and I completely felt at peace for the first time in my life.

I just finnished reading the Celestine Phrophecy about a week ago. I had a hard time trying to find out if what it says is true or not. I am only a 15 year old girl, but I feel that my emotional level surpasses others in maturity. I am so excited to hear that many of you have had these sorts of experiences, and can actually see the energy. I have been trying to see it, but I haven't been able to yet. At this point in my life, I am wondering what I have been made for, and I hope the Celestine Phrophecy will help me to uncover that.

I'm going to buy the other books very soon Smile

I have quite a few "moments" but after my wife and I had children, we both kinda lost our "connectedness". We worked and did not live in the flow. But our relationship started with about 400 (no lie) Celestine events on our first date, a four day camping trip in Shenandoah National Park. Needless to say, we always try to get back into every so oftern and now that the kids are older, we are starting to get back.

One day, when I have more time, I will share some of our experiences that are truly amazing. Until then, I hope those that are lurking will trust and go for it.

Peace

...especially spilling the milk! Whenever you accidentally stub your toe, or bump your elbow, it is because you need to inspect the thoughts or plans you have in your mind at that moment ? they are probably not the best thing for you at that time, and they may interfere with up-coming synchronicities. This applies to minor, every-day intentions as well as major life-plans.

A recent example: I was in the kitchen making tea for my guest, who needed cheering up. I thought of something funny to say about the recent situation he had been involved in, and, just as I had that thought, I knocked over the sugar bowl. Whilst I was clearing up the mess, I made a mental note of my thoughts at the time and made the decision not to voice my 'joke' upon my return to the living room. Later on, he revealed a piece of information of which I was previously unaware. I then realised that my joke would have actually been very hurtful if I'd told it, and naturally I was grateful that I had refrained. Common sense alone would not have prevented the faux pas because, at the time, I was lacking a vital piece of information.

Via our subconscious minds we are all connected to a communal, universal wisdom that is far greater than any one individual. Throughout life it provides us with guidance ? we just have to be open to it. Spilling milk is a sign, or a hint, as is every other mishap, however insignificant it may seem. If we continually ignore the small ones, bigger ones will follow until we realise what we're doing wrong, and mend our ways.

Your subconscious mind always feels it, which is why you have an accident: There's a momentary loss of automatic muscular movements when your mind becomes unexpectedly distracted. So, just briefly, this sudden warning renders you incapable of carrying out a simple task that you've been doing without thinking for years!

Just a thought.

Namaste
