My Momma

Hello all!
I am a new member, but would like to put in a prayer request as I do believe in the power of prayer. My 53yr old mother was diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year. She has never smoked, drank, did any kind of drug, etc. yet she is the one who ended up with cancer. Unfortunately, they did not find it until it had already spread to her liver. She has been going through treatments, and has started new ones recently because the old ones were not working. As someone who doesn't even like to take Advil, these have been extremely hard on her. She is a strong and courageous woman who is always thinking of everyone else before herself. On her Caring Bridge website, she is constantly asking for prayers for people she does not even know that are going through similar things. So, please pray for Vicki Walker. She is the mom of 5 and gram to 8. We all love and need her. Thanks!

My heart got into prayer for your family and your loving Mamma the moment I read your post .
The image that came to me was a woman with her head on Christ feet
He is seated in Getsemani garden dressed in a purple robe,...
Christ is saying to her :Rest in me...beloved one.
may this image be yours now..
be sure here is the right place to ask for healing prayers...this is a place full of loving souls and powerful prayer is in action on this site all the time ,even as I write.
keep in your hearth this image , she is already being healed.

May all the sweet compassion your mom has spread into the world be hers now ,may the Grace of the Almighty pour down on you and your family

how is you mom doing? Hope the angels keep you both safe .
You seem to be a young soul , so i feel moved to tell u my story:
Since I also spent a Christmas with my Dad in the hospital with a deadly cancer , when I was young , I understand what u re going through. Muy dad was also a beautiful soul , generous and kind , protective and compassionate . As you I could not undestand how something like these could be happening to him . I watched him fight , I accompany him until he passed to the other side of life.
For a long time after his passing , I miss him , miss him , miss him...could not undestand why he was not there for watching my kids grow , to hug me , to tell me everything would be fine...and there were many times I needed him to.
But one day , doing the CP workbook , The timeline specifically , I realized the tremendous gift that his departure gave me. With this event , in my teen years , I was never caught in the illussion of the material world . I was sent in the direccion of the things eternal , the healing capacity of Love, the Afterworld and its mysteries. I realized that many miracles in my life were his loving hand protecting me from the invisible .
That Love could not be lost , may change form ,but it is always there for u.
I came to perceive that , as we do in the Cp global prayer, those that go before us , are there , wings of Light, behind us to protect us and guide us , sometimes through the wisdom of another being, sometimes by syncronicities. that light the way.
I realized that even my work today is related to that event , when someone that has suffered profound wounds from living a pain in life , comes to me , I can relate to her from the place I once was , and that helps .
So, in my heart hope that you r mom recovers well, but since any of us knows exactly what the best outcome is for each soul , pray that the best for all of you happen , and may my words sooth your heart , if needed.
