The thought never occured to me until I read CP. I'll be trying it this year, when I begin to start seeds in Jan.

I grow veggies, flowers and medicinal herbs, mostly for family and friends. I try to sell enough flowers to cover my cost, but it never happens. It's not a business,it's a passion. And, it puts food on the table!

I talk to my plants, play music and even brush my hand over them to say hello, but I have never tried to send them energy! What a wonderful thing to do.

Has anyone tried that?

Be well, lexina

I have tried it a bit, since I've been attuned & trained in Reiki and since I've been an organic gardener most of my life.

I was always surprised how little attention this part of the Celestine Prophecy seems to get. People read it, accept it, and read on... mostly remembering the insights, as such.

I look forward to reading about your experiences.

By the way, there is a whole history of scientists who have explored the phenomenon of human/plant energy exchanges. There was a book publishede about these things, quite a few years back: The Secret Life of Plants.

Much more experimentation needs to be done, though. These experiments and studies are in an extremely early stage.

Tanemon,

I thought it strange too. It seems that plants, and nature in general, are very important to the prophesy experience. Of course, I'm a very "woodsy" person, so I identified with those parts of The CP.

Thanks for the book suggestion! I carry a very worn library card.

Gene posted something interesting here on the CP site, maybe a year ago, about a house plant of his.

This morning it occured to me to ask if anyone here at C.V. has had any interesting experiences with their garden (or plants anywhere - house, a park, etc) this past year?

I grow impatiens, among a ton of other plants, every year from seed. Some of them looked like they caught a disease, a blight of some sort. I planted healthy and infected plants at my camp this spring, next to my cabin.

My cabin is about 100' away from a spot that I believe is a hot spot and very high in positive energy.

At the end of the season, all the plants were healthy and all lived longer than plants located elsewhere on the property.

Yeah, now that's interesting!

High-power places ("power spots") are a topic some people have gotten into deeply.

There are places with remarkable power, people with remarkable power, spiritual practices with remarkable power, etc.

Some people take a special interest in plants. Plants are an essential part of the life system of the Earth, of course. Vegetation is regarded as an important part of scenic beauty, too. The farming of plants (agriculture) has long been an important aspect of civilization. And down through history there have been many people concerned with the food, medicinal, and decorative value of plants.

There is an excellent discussion of plants and human energy/spirituality now taking place on the Tribe.net system. Its on a forum (a "tribe") called All Yoga... on Tribe.net

I'd invite anyone interested, in an involved way or hands-on way, with this topic of plants and human energy to become part of the discussion.

It's easy to become a member of Tribe.net. It's a system on which there are many, many specific theme-oriented groups discussing spiritual and energetic topics, also world events, etc.

L&L,

Tanemon,

Thanks for the site tip! I'm new to this computer discussion thing, so it will take me a long time to navigate my way though that site.

I've always felt drawn to several areas on our property, and I'm slowly investigating each one.

This spring, I plan on planting a few bean plants and a few impatient/begonia plants(depending on sunlight) in each of these spots. These several spots are spread out over 40 acres, and all of them are located next to deer trails. I'll also plant in several areas where I don't "feel" anything. It will make for a great nature walk, and a fun comparison at the same time.

I've been looking into our family property for a few years now, and I 've been able to trace it back to it's "discovery " by French explorer, Champlain. It's only been previously owned by five people, and only three families of the five lived on it. Reading hand written deeds was no joke! Before it's discovery, I'm sure it was home to the Iroquois.

Anyway, I guess I'm trying to point out that the property is relatively "un-tramped" upon. So, that could be the reason why I feel so positive and uplifted in so many spots.

Whether they are "hot spots" or just un-touched spots, I feel blessed to have them.

Lexina, I can help you learn to negiotiate Tribe.net. If you are interested in getting involved a lively discussion on the topic, please do not hesitate to contact me - either by private message here at Celestine Vision, or by e-mail. My e-mail address is:
tanemon06@yahoo.ca

I believe there is much to be learned about this sort of topic, in its various aspects. The discussion of the subject here at Celestine has been surprisingly sporadic... most people seem rather uninterested. (That's okay, they have valid interests of different sorts here at C.V.) But on this topic, it's very different (that way) over at Tribe.

I think this is extremely important stuff, for several reasons. Glad it interests you, and glad to find a kindred spirit like you here at C.V.

Love & Light,
Tanemon

Thanks again, Tanemon. Right back at ya! I think I have to start another post in a more appropriate topic. I have to work it out in my mind first.

After reading the collection of CP book, which I must re-read, I kept getting the same connections with my own pursuits. I've been paying attention to synchronicities since I was about 24, but never followed through with them until several years ago.

What really caught my attention in the books was the connections between ancient/sacred sites, plants and rising to a higher vibration.

Do I post my thoughts about this in insights or book discussion? What do you think?

My advice would be in the Insights forum... simply because James Redfield's books are James's vision of things, and the books (in my mind) offer a catalyst and a companion for our own adventures & thinking. So the insights that have occured to you through your own personal journey of discovery are your own, even if they are similar in many ways to James's or to those of the people who post here at Celestine Vision.

Thanks for the advice. I have to outline everything on paper first so I don't sound so scattered.

I was especially attracted too the part of the book that describes sending energy to plants. I was eager to begin. It's fall right now so I've been practicing on houseplants. I am also just learning to see energy fields again. I did this regularly as a child/teen then I let those "preoccupations" of life get in the way and I lost the ability. I hope to be able to see color. I feel that I can barely detect blue and pale green...but this was with my own hands.
After reading about energy and plants I couldn't wait to have a garden but I live in an apartment and am not allowed to plant a garden. Then while daydreaming about a garden my friend and her mother popped into my head. I let it go. Then a little while later I got a phone call from her asking me if I would like to have a garden with her at her mother's farm, as she also is lacking garden space on her own property. I was so excited and we've already begun preparing the space for the spring. She is a chef and very much into local and fresh foods. She, her husband and parents and I are eager to grow things and can them. I think it is even better being that it is a community garden where we can all work together and pour good intention into everything we are doing there.
