Prayers for organic co-op and local supply of food

Thanx for your prayers re: my Job and personal life.

I work at the local food co-op-a place that has the most wonderful organic produce department, that I've seen in all my travels. We also carry lots of wonderful bulk foods, health products and have a huge organic dairy area. Whole Foods has never been as nice as this place. It is also a meeting place for positive people and and supplies food to local businesses, including a vegetarian restraunt. We try to support local growers, as much as possible.

This isn't just about me and my job anymore. This co-op is the cornerstone of the town. Both managers are resigning, along with several other key employees. There is massive toxic negative drama there, including problems with the board of directors. I can't even begin to say how sad and ugly this has become. When I joined the staff 1 1/2 years ago the place had such good energy.

Unfortunatly this whole little beautiful town is full of lots of "payton place" snooty/clicky drama, when otherwise it would be such a blissful place to live.

This co-op needs prayers and healing!

[without it lots of people would have to leave their homes and move elsewhere, as there is no other place w/in hours of here to get decent healthy food].

There are so few places like this left in a world that has been taken over by mega-giant corporate stores [ie: Walmart, target, and even Whole Foods], that don't have humanity as the bottom line.

This co-op and others like it need to be saved

Things seemed to be calmed down, but nothing has gone forward.

Everyone is going in circles, not solving anything.

I spoke out on this tonight and i hope someone heard what i said about everyone needing to work together in love and that the 1st priority is to save this co-op.

This is part of my little backyard and i just want to see the battleling stop.

Hi Jennifer,

I'm really sorry to hear about your organisation, there will be a solution and someone within your organisation will know what it is. The problem is that the person with the solution isn't necessarily the one who knows how to achieve it.

Whenever obstacles appear in life, it's natural for us to slip into self-preservation mode, hence the going round in circles. In order to break the cycle, you'll need some selfless body to work within the team to bring the team together as one, with one selfless aim.

From the sounds of it, you have already made a stand... how did that feel? If you, or somebody else you know, is that selfless one, then this is a real opportunity for you to bring the organisation together and take it forward in the direction you all want it to take.

My wish is for you to remain strong and true...
