FDA Drug scandals in 3rd World Countries

I am truly amazed of some of the people here on CV that are playing an active role in ending poverty and world hunger, I came across a site about a month ago or a little more it was about the FDA using GM(genetically modified)food on sick children in third wold countries and the many pharmacuticle companies testing their products on them as well, while they were unaproved in the United States. Their unregulated or sometimes devious trial has led to many deaths.

Now many people might have the additude that food is food...my concern is the organization Im sponsoring sends my sponsored child and her family/comunity supplies to survive....but what if the wholeseller or donater they are getting their food from is well quite simply poison in the long run?

I apologize for emtting negative vibes here...and should analyze my control dramas I've had a bad week, I found out a person I never met but I really cared for ( online friendship of 31/2 years) passed away from his cancer a few months ago so I am having a hard time coping.....

There is an article in the below website that coinsides with the ending world hunger forum.

The website give startling facts about International food aid, genetically modified foods distributed and how the U.S. government works globally at trying to provide relief to other countries.

While my posts seem to be along the lines of conspiracy theories or government bashing....This is not my specific intention but just a hope that by providing some insights and knowledge perhaps it could be a ground for people wanting to make a change or insights on how we can initiate a change, if it means, what types of food we buy for our own homes to help sustain another country who is being harmed by us buying their rice or corn or grains

Im an interrogator and Aloof...many have asked if we could use our control drama's in a positive way...Im looking at how my interrorgator attitude drives me to ask questions and perhaps asking and analyzing the right questions, change can take place

Hmm, Jillian, I think you are being too hard on yourself. You are not trying to control anyone but rather just trying to pass along some information on a subject that is close to your heart in an effort to make some positive changes in the world. Now if people don't respond and you started to call people names and insist they see and act how you see fit then I might start to consider that a control drama was being used. But unless lights are shined on the issues that affect our world then no one would notice. And it seems to me that you are really just trying to do some good. I mean you are in the Social Action section. Anyways good luck to you. You are a good person trying to protect innocent people. No need to be so hard on yourself. Maybe you should e-mail James and see if he might do a prayer vigil on the subject.

The past month I have been off centred with our source, and the past couple of days I have been trying to reconnect and feeling better.

Your insight to how I might be perceiving things has even let me let go of some of my anxiety.

This is why I really appreciate this websight, the support from others is astounding and having others help each of us clarify or think of things in other ways is really healing
