Hidden meanings in the Movie

During the screen writing of the CP movie, we decided to hint at the subject of the next Movie, The Tenth Insight. We started, as you'll see, with a prologue, that begins in 1622. It's just a flash, but it shows most of the characters in an earlier time. Each of them has a trait, a characteristic that comes with them when the movie shifts to the present time. Some of these traits are even hinted at in the trailers. I'd like to bring up the whole idea of what makes some people seem familiar to us. Sometimes it's just a physical habit, a way of moving. Anybody observe that with people in their own lives?

James, thank you for mentioning the subject of familiar traits. Yes, I have experienced that before. I have two nieces who remind me of family members from my past. Not because of traits so much, but more because of a look in their eyes. When I am with them I feel as if I am with people from my past.



Can't wait to see the movie and discover how you showed this subject on film.

I've felt that with people for sure, but also with places. I had never been to the French Riviera and moved there for my junior year, I felt like I was HOME. It all seemed so familiar in an eerie sort of way. (At the time I wasn't familiar with your books. ) I just felt so comfortable and cozy there, really like I had been there before.

Thank you for addressing this concept, James, and for doing it in so mainstream a way.



I love finding members of my 'soul family.' Out of the billions on the planet, I will always remember those moments when I meet those who blow away the word 'coincidence'. These are the people who, through conversation, I discover that we know the same people, or know people who know the same people, even if separated by thousands of miles. For instance, just last weekend, in the middle of the woods, I met a woman and it seemed like we had a lot in common, but as we kept talking, we learned that she used to be friends with with one of my best friends on the other side of the country. My son is narrowing down college choices, and her daughter had chosen the same two colleges (which most people have never heard of). And another friend trained under one of her friends, again in another part of the country. There were about 6 more 'connections' like this with her.



There are people who you'd expect some degree of connection to be normal, but then there are others where there's no explanation, for me, but that they are part of my soul family.



That's why I feel it's so important that we connect with others, that we talk with others, that we show interest in others, because there is so often not only a meaning in our connection, but also a reintroduction to others I am connected to on a level beyond simple human experience, or even awareness...



It always makes me recall the expression 'It's a small world for such a huge rock!'

that is very strange but usual feeling. you dont know the person but you seem to know him/her from somewhere else. maybe from the past. their energy seem to be so comfortable to feel. your eyes met and he/she seems to recognize you too, she/he thinks for a moment then realized that he/she doesnt know you. but then again he/she tried for another look, and your eyes met again. but then again you really dont know each other.



this happens to me, always... everywhere. supermarkets, school, cofee shop, streets, anywhere...



some places have some effects too. i felt like i have been there before, the energy seems familliar, comfortable.



thats really strange. both gives a feeling of deja vu, thats describe it.

The feeling we are all getting is called RESONANCE. When you meet someone, or go somehwere that brings that familiar feeling, you are resonating to the vibrational wave of that person/place. They are one of your soul family, as stated above. As we all become more in tune with ourselves and our environment, this will happen more often, giving us the opportunity to recognize each other on a soul level. When I feel this it is my reminder to pay attention to my surroundings and the energy/information I am picking up and my opportunity to fine tune those senses. I think this is awesome because it lets me know that, on a planetary level, we are moving forward and shifting into the next level of consciousness. It is synchronicity, the very act of creation, and we, as creators, have brought into reality!

One thing I experience on a VERY regular basis is strangers telling me I 'look SO familiar'... I don't look very common, so the only explanation I've come up with is that they're recognizing (or resonating) to some other part of me other than my physical being. Has anyone else experienced this?

I have often had this feeling and have been experiencing this sense of "knowing" someone a great deal more as I am working on a documentary in which people have, not only "come aboard" with the project, but have also become close friends. It truly is a magical experience. I look forward to seeing how this all plays out in the Celestine Prophecy.

Hi James, I've often "recognized" people, or had people recognize me that I have no memory of meeting before. Sometimes I've even brainstormed with them, trying to find the place in our past, to no avail.



There's always a fond feeling of familiarity, a sense of comfort, even joy.



On one occassion I spontaniously remembered knowing someone since the beginning of time, we exclaimed at the same time "I remember you!"

James: I find w/ me is a 'feeling'; I cannot exactly identify this feeling, just that is a sort of familiarity, 'this has happened before...',

Sometimes is good, sometimes is sad, sometimes is no particular emotion at all, just a feeling of 'I have known this person before' or this has happened before. I notice is also the same type of feeling w/ a place.



My husband and I had so many coincidences/synchronicities happened when we first met, it was amazing. In fact I had a sort of a 'vision' that you published your paper newsletter the Celestine Journal ~before the web site~ back in 1995. And the funny thing about it was that I noticed that even though we had been dating for quite a while, and have fallen in love I could not 'see a future' for us, and I thought that was strange because is natural thing to at least imagine a future w/ someone you're falling in love w/ So one day I mentioned it to him and he said he had the same happened to him but was afraid to mention it and hurt my feelings. After discussing it and wondering why, since we have had so many coincidences happened and he said something that I never forgot, he said "Maybe the past has to get caught up w/ the present before we can see/persive a future". We have already perceived that we have met 'before' in another life. So somehow 'something has been left undone/incomplete', and we had to 'get caught up' first. We got married in 2001, had been dating since 1995. We never had an urge to 'move in together', and gave each other space, and growing room.



I cannot say exactly what brought the 'completeness'; but we eventually got past whatever 'it' was and got married. It was as if it was suppose to happen, all of it, the relationship, the marriage. The coincidences just guided us to let us know that we were on the right path. By the way we went to Costa Rica for our honeymoon, and I understand that part of the movie was made there. We know why! PS By the way, how is this for coincidence. You look ~almost like a twin~ exactly like someone I knew a long time ago, and Sally looks ~almost like a twin~ exactly like a friend/coworker of ours when my husband and I first started dating. His name was Jay and from the Ms GulfCoast, and her name was Dotty lived here on Ms GulfCoast but moved to north Ms in 1995-96.

I have a niece that is very special to us. In our family we refer to her as having an old soul. She is 16, and has wisdom and understanding that most do not acquire in a lifetime.

I, too, have a child in my life who is referred to as an old soul. My daughter is 6 now and we have had people stop us in the park to tell us that she is familiar and that she is a "special" child. Among our friends, she is just so familiar in such a small body and has been since she was 2 years old. I understand just what you are talking about. That feeling of familiarity, whether a place or a person. So comforting, I have never really understood it.



I followed a link in a forum which brought me here. I read some of the other stuff on this website before registering and coming here. I think that James Redfield is definitely on to something very important. What is the first insight? Coincidences that are connected to something deeper? Absolutely. I am here for a reason bigger than me.

I've met people in my life whos thoughts seem to engulf me.. There are other people who I never can seem to understand or reach.. I love the book Celestine Prophecies... It is my favorite. I gave away a couple copies to friends.. I am in need of another copy! I can't wait to see the movie, I am going to try to see the sneak preview when it comes out! My friend Chris is reading the book right now. I usually call him once every 5 or 6 months. In the past 2 months I've called him 3 times, without him answering. He finally called me yesterday to tell me that he was waiting to call me as soon as he finished the book. But he did not wait to call. He was excited to tell me that he is halfway through the book , and it is so weird to him that I tried to call him so many times. He was thinking about me as he read the book. He also needed to tell me that as he was on the 2nd chapter, he went on a train, and the lady next to him pulled out a copy of the book and started reading it.. He is amazed at the coincidences already starting to happen!!!

The way a person's face seems lit up.



Or just pure attraction...for me that's manifested in even sexual attraction that seems unusual. It's so voracious sometimes it's like puppy love back in high school when you felt like every fiber of your being is focused on THAT person. And that's when one of us will say something out of the blue like, "Wow, I can't believe we ran into each other like this. It's so strange." And that's when I realize to step back to evaluate the purpose of the connection with this person and it becomes an "Aha!" moment, and that's when I know I've got the gold in that moment in time. It's not a love thing or sexual thing at all. There's a reason for us connecting. And I always remind myself that sometimes it's not for my benefit, but for the other person's. It's a great feeling to come to that realization.
