Great Spirit,

We ask that you lessen the effect of Gustav and Hannah. We pray for protection for those in the path of these storms and that the value of life is placed above the value of property.

Please, help us make these storms fall apart before they reach more lands and peoples.

The reason i came here tonight was to make same request, that GeneHrsy beat me to it. Thanks. Have been sending light since last Tues teleconference, when i learned of this.

I came to where i live now due to Rita 3 years ago. It feels like a repeat just from a different perspective, for which i'm greatful [in spite of all the drama and challanges i've been facing here]. The rest of the evacuees all went back after finding themselves unable to cope here. Glad i've stuck it out. Easier to visualise and pray when i don't have to run around like crazy to pack all and leave.

There's a few other here in my area who agreed to help w/ light and prayer also.

I was communicating with some friends about this prayer need and one wisely shared this thought:

"Perhaps you can suggest [that we] use Reiki, [etc.] to engage the energy of the storm to dissipate it by using the energy to heal the planet, people, situations, war, etc. USE the energy, don't keep it away. We must embrace it all in order to be whole. Mother Earth is part of us and we of her." Dolly

That sounds interesting...why clockwise? I am learning in acupuncture that turning the needle a bit clockwise "tonifies" the organ, counter-clockwise "sedates", and more applications. I remember hearing that one way brings energy in, one sends it out, but I'd like to be more clear on it and hear what you had in mind when you stated that.

It is just, the low pressure system turns counter clockwise. To weaken it I must spin opposite of its natural direction. It is interesting how this knowledge of direction is in many cultures and religions.
