Has anyone else been able to feel other people's prayers for them?
Has anyone ever felt confused because other people's prayers or hopes for you aren't really what you need?
Have you modified your prayers after considering Mr. Redfield's books? _________________ Sister Goshe |

One example: I'm a 30 year old single Mom. Sometimes I tell people I'm interested in finding a date or I've felt lonely. When I express this, it seems that I can feel other people praying for me to "find someone." It seems to come from outside myself. Some advice I get when I'm talking to people is "don't worry about it and don't think about it and it will happen." Other advice I get is to "get out there and find someone." Conflicting advice, yes and which way is the right way, I do not know... so I pray about it and I can "hear" other people's prayers for me that are often conflicting and confusing. These "other" ideas aren't "evil" so to speak, but I have to be really focussed and centered to clamour thorugh them to get to the truth.
I wonder if anyone else has had this experience?
It seems like our prayers truly have power and influence over others.
We should try harder to avoid thinking we know what other people need.
The words I try to use include praying that other people who I've talked to are "blessed with what they need." Who am I to think that the plan doesn't include trials that people need to go through? Who am I to pray against what's best in the long run?
Mr. Redfield talks about this in his books, and often what seems to be the way you didn't wants to go ends up being the way you were intended to go. I think we should remember to unassumingly pray for the best possible outcome, what ever it may be. And teach others to do the same! |

One thing I've learned, is that we already KNOW the answers... but simply confuse ourselves. The other thing is, that our bodies are feedback mechanisms. So if I already know what is best for me, and someone gives me some advice, I will either feel open and relaxed. I may also tell myself, or say out loud, something like; "Yeah that makes sense". If it's not the right information for me, I will feel tension, probably scrunch my face a bit, get stuck in my head, and would probably say; "I don't know". But I do know. If I have tension and anxiety, it's not for me. People say we need to TRUST others. I say, "WE NEED TO TRUST OURSELF".
As far as praying for people goes... I believe we can pray for them to either learn their Life lesson in whatever they are experiencing, or remember Who they are.
Life is like a peach; Soft and delicate on the outside, juicy in the middle, and the center is filled with a seed that if nurtured, will blossom and bear beautiful fruit. |

I suggest finding Gregg Braden's new book called:
The Secret's Of The Lost Mode Of Prayer.
The best book I've read in a very long time.
