|
|
hi all
Im Gayatri - just finished the CP. have got the 10th insight & the others are on their way!
my question is about male energy - the CP talks about gaining your opposite sex energy from the universe thereby completing yourself so that when you enter into a relationship with another whole person you do not have that risk of falling back into old control dramas.
Anyone got any ideas on how you gain the male energy (or female) from the universe, as this is something that is very important to me right now?
Many thanks in advance for all your energy & shares
Gayatri

Hi Gayatri,
Welcome to the forum. You are a true blessing to the world. Glad CP brought you here.
I can identify with the idea of male/female energy only in that I have had the experience of welcoming, in my mind, the aspects of character that we associate with females in our society. But these are inside of our minds. These tendencies are born in all of us and society tells us what to suppress in ourselves and what to promote. Each of us is both male and female; in our bodies as well as our minds. In each of us there are the parts of the opposite sex that are repressed. Each of us have the sex organs of the other sex that are not developed, usually, those glands tell the organism to pick one and develop it.
Truly, when it comes to energy, there is no male/female. When true vision occurs, what is male and what is female are not separate. It is this way in the flesh as well, it is a matter of being aware that we are both.
That's my thought about it.
Peace

Hello Gayatri...
Welcome!
I have many opinions and thoughts about male and female energies. I feel that was one of the issues I was to be aware of in this lifetime. I was the only daughter w/5 brothers for 12 years. Then I got to watch the dynamics change when my sister was born, 6 yrs younger than my youngest brother, 12 yrs younger than me.
I then had 3 sons.
My sister now has 3 little boys.
One book I learned from was Men are from Mars/Women are from Venus.
Written by a male. Males have been the voices of authority, but not of insight. Women have been the voices of insight and relationship ideas, not of structure and authority. There are many good books written by women.
Male energies are competent, competitive, authoritative, closed/sure, more decisive. Look to nature for many insights.
I feel that the more that women develop their truths/Self and do not look to be submissive in order to attract male attention (hidden w/in many things), they are knowing male focus and determination/confidence, rights to be Self, strong, seen, clear, decisive, authoritative.
I feel that the more that men express their truths and questions and do not look to fix women or 'need a woman' for self care, they are knowing female understanding and acceptance/support, nurturing, expressive, creative.
Just some ponderings...

Oh, littlebird, aren't we lucky!
If we stay connected to the feminine, don't you think/feel/see that we have insight to share with where we are in Herstory/History ...
I always told 'my guys' that my goal with them was that they would choose to commit to a woman out of love, never out of need. They all cook, clean, do dishes and laundry, send cards, call their Grandparents!
I am proud.
My sister is doing a good job w/her boys, but I can see what energy it takes to raise good guys/men. I really want to have a business that supports this and expands it into this wisdom we share here. Dream...
The strength of my knowing, my conviction, my clarity
on healthy interdependence
sometimes feels so important
and needed today.
Namaste' and Loving Balance...

Hi Gayatri,
It nice to meet you. I am kind of glad you asked the question because I never really thought about the persepctives that Gene and Ce expressed so thanks guys. I am a girl but can find myself acting a bit like a guy sometimes but I never really thought about that in regards to needing a man to balance me but I guess it makes sense. Though it is still nice to have a guy around to fix stuff I won't hesistate to try myself if he isn't around. So I do indeed agree that this is very well what James meant in his book. What I will say to add to that persepective is to always remember that happiness can only be found within. We choose to be happy with who we are and what we have. Once we understand that and make the choice to be happy no matter what then our "happiness" won't be dependent on who we have in our life or what they do to make us happy. We will just be happy and having someone in our life will just be icing.
Love,
Michelle |

hi
many thanks to all of you for your insights.
Gene - at first when i read your reply it didn't quite seem to 'fit' .. then later that week I had an experience of feeling my own male energy and a glimpse of that completeness with my male & female energies ..tho only a glimpse (well, that's how everything starts, right?!) it was wonderful .. so now it makes a lot of sense.
I used to use my male energy as a front, to protect myself &make out that I didn't need or want a man in my life, which obviously wasn't true. I'm now in a transition - my intention is to get to the point where I have someone in my life because I want that & not because I need it .. where I feel complete in myself regardless .. just realised this is coming out a bit garbled so I'll return another time with a clearer expression of what i'm tryting to say!!
blessings

Gayarti,
You said it well. For many of us, the insights begin with a glipse of the truth. It is like a seed in us that will not be denied the light of day in our lives.
Let it be!
God's Love flows through all.
Namaste

|

hi gayatri,
WELCOME!!!
I like what has been said here.
I will add something recent that came into my awareness. My father started with bi-polar when I was 11 years old. Prior to that we were a traditional family. Dad worked and more cared for the home and children.
I never realised how dad influenced my life. He always bought me school equipment. He worked hard for his family. He took us to the park. He took us to the beach and on holidays. What I realised recently was he did speak he acted alot. So, he influenced more with his actions.
Male energy is the action orientated. Whereas female is the nurturing side I think.
When I was eleven I see how my father's identity changed alot. My mother had to take over alot of things my father used to do. It wasn't until my father moved out only five years ago and divorce that my father again got to be independent and care for himself.
My mother overshadowed his male energy and her own over compensated. She began to mother/smother him. He was frustrated about this.
I was very good at projecting my female energy on to others - care taking. But, not so good at applying it towards me until recently. They projected their harsh male energy on to me.
Now I am balance my receiving (giving to me and receiving from others) with giving out to others in balance.
I think when we find like Majorie and John that we are losing ourselves. I think this is when control begins and trying to please another. Its like saying I need to project all my female energy on to mothering another. When I should be balancing self care and self directing and not directing others.
Each person can then freely give and receive on balance.
Hope this makes sense as this topic has brought alot up for me.
Love

My recommendation as a healer who balances male and female energies is this ......x
Meditate on self love and union with self , feel your own inner light and connect with your spirit as a place of purpose and love also. When you feel yourself drawn inward ask for your male and female energies to meet and make love through divine union.......Wow......Try it ...... has never failed with anyone I have recommended to ... also practice makes perfectisimo.......X Lol , Solodad. _________________ Solodad Maria |

One of my favorite authors is Margaret Starbird. When all the hoopla was circulating concerning the Divinci Code, I was led to the writings of this very brilliant woman. She introduced such an insight into the Divine Feminine that Dan Brown missed...at least that's my opinion. I believe that womanhood as a 'whole' is beginning to be 'identified' without fear and thus truly celebrated. I had not considered Divinci's Vetruvian Man...as both Male and Female, until someone pointed that out to me, and I realised 'she' stands in direct support of her 'mate'/'male.' Gene Hersey beautifully expressed in his post that we are both male and female, and I would just add one more teeny idea to his; our identities are both 'inside' and 'outside' of each other as noted. What a lovely balance, nitches and notches matched/mated...and in the sharing of the intimate and sacred...I find it interesting that we 'yearn' to share what is within. That is 'intimacy' personified. When that love is coupled with such yearning it creates true 'Learn'ing. Whew...WE are such 'good' stuff! In time, I believe the physical will become the lesser 'light' and the mingling of our souls will become our 'suns.' Hoooo'ray'....! Creation at its best! One plus one...equals "3." (someone 'new' rather than some'thing' new) What purpose!!!!!!! Me and he...and baby makes three. O.K. ...that's enough, Lyndell!! (Makes me want to go and populate earths!! Ha!)
Just the ramblings of an ol' gal!
and with that I send greetings for a wonderful day (and night) to all of you..both male and female.
Lyndell

Gayatri, I think you can see by now that both those beautiful male and female energies exist on this site. It is so nice to have the balance of loving mother-women and trusting father-man energies surrounding us as we move though this life and when we look deep into those around us we see that both exist in all that is.
Welcome to paradise and the Garden of Eve.

Thank you, Lyndell. Thank you All. Hi Ziggy. I've been away too much. I finally got on my email and I see a reply message for this topic. Nice gift, as this place is an important connection to my Heart and Soul. My Dad taught me about Soul. Yes, in a Catholic Way initially, but we know that our paths all are made up of many stones, and each stone helps lead us further along the path.
My Dad died on 10-18-08, quickly and surely.
I suffer with the loss of knowing that I cannot go see him. I am mourning. And, yes, I have seen him having fun with his freedom. A small racoon in the carport, birds singing loudly at the cemetary, a handsome buck jumping out, 2 geese fly over his grave 2 days after the funeral, a bunny tripping my brother as he walked thru Dads garden. Fun. Free. Spirited.
I post this first here because I learned much about male and female energies by watching my Dad and Mom. Dynamics. Expectations. Reactions. Shoulds. Disappointments. Secrets. Hidings. Complaints. Appreciations. Dependencies. Service. Relationships.
Change has come. Again. I watch my brothers step up. I feel their fears. I wonder why they do not trust patience, balance, time. I also know why.
I might find my role again in this family of males without the patriarch.
Here, in this sacred sharing spot, we have the gift of knowing the Earthly truths and traps are simply a small part of the Picture. An important part. A learning part. And yet, a part.
Namaste and Love, Many Grins N Glimmers!
