| Quote: | Gaiafield Meditation and Prayer Vigil
Hello everyone,
We don't often communicate with you about meditation events, but this time
it feels like the right thing to do. The Gaiafield Meditation and Prayer
Vigil grew organically from discussions about how to enliven and embody the
International Day of Peace, September 21, 2006, and it has now become a
pilot project to test the effectiveness of the internet to link groups
around the world for global meditation events.
You are invited to participate in this unique global ritual for peace on
September 21, inspired by the International Day of Peace.
From 3.30 - 4.30 pm GMT, groups will gather in Auroville (India), the
Findhorn Foundation Community (Scotland), and the California Institute of
Integral Studies (USA) for a sacred ceremony that will be shared at all
three locations by a state-of-the-art video and audio link. The ceremony
will also be broadcast live over the internet to a global audience, so you
will be able to participate from wherever you are.
The free live broadcast will be available at the website www.gaiafield.net
starting an hour before the event.
Please visit www.worldtimezone.com to determine when the broadcast will be
in your time zone.
We hope you will want to participate and add your energy to this experiment
in consciousness for peace. May peace prevail on earth.
with expectancy and joy,
Yvonne Cuneo
