Hi ChakraTom,

Maybe if you concentrate on just remembering you IMPACT everyone and everything you touch or come into contact with. Your career is just a way of focusing this IMPACT. Some of us do this using data, people or things. Either way you are IMPACTING on others. Do you like to share, explore, build, or order things?

Do you like to use your hands? Do you like to play with ideas? Do you like to sort things out?

I a few months back did not know where I was going. I wrote places, professions on some small pieces of paper and then I closed my eyes and asked if the universe would reveal to me the job for my highest good then I threw a small coin. In the UK we use pennies. To my amazement it landed on learning and I NOW WORK IN careers guidance which includes training, courses and learning.

At first I did not understand the meaning of the learning card. Now I do.

Also there is a model called GROW imagine if I said to you TOM I will take every obstacle away and you can do anything you would like. What would it be? Is there anyone you see and think I wish I could do that?

Then I would ask you what is the reality? Where are you now in relation to the goal? Then I say What options do you have, what is one step you could take to get closer to that goal? Then I'd ask you the when, where and how?

Hope this is helpful.

Namaste-

Blessings

Hi All,

I have been reading alot about thoughts and manifesting. I can see more and more that when I visualise a positive outcome I get it! When I am filling my head with shoulds and negative outcomes I get it! We like me yesterday seem to be so hard on ourselves and YES as OldSoul and Michelle say we need to be gentle on ourselves and STOP beating up on ourselves. Focusing on what we are doing in the right direction. We all slip its being human. Even Buddah had days and even Jesus I am sure.

God rested on the seventh day and said GOOD very good. And we are always trying to be more, and beating up on ourselves. We are perfectly where we are meant to be in each moment.

It is terrific that we have this place. WHY do we all occassionally dish this play as not real. So what if we have no one on the outside world as we put it. WE HAVE EACH OTHER HERE. God provided this space as well as the space away from these computers. How magnificient that we have A SPACE in our lives to encourage each other.

THANKS GREAT SPIRIT FOR SUCH A WONDERFUL PLACE!

Namaste -

Blessings

Hi All,

I have really found this thread insightful and just managed to finish it to this point.

I feel after reading that my take on this is: We have a spiritual part and a human part. We need to take care of the body and feed it. We need to also take care of the spiritual side of us. EVERYTHING comes from the SOURCE every bit of help, food, even people like hitler who mirror our dark side or darker collective conscious. There is energy exchange and money is as such.

Money is only a symbol/representation of Energy. The source channels the right help at the right time to the right people through the right people. I do my job primarily because for me a strong value is doing meaningful activity. I do it for free and have done for a long while. But, I have bills to pay and utilities that have trusted me and had faith in me enough and so I need to pay them. I took a job for three days a week. I do two and a half days voluntarily. For me the greatest reward is seeing the smile on peoples faces when I help them see the good in them.

My bills remind me I have the ability to pay. For that I am grateful.

I also think that LAUGHTER is one of the best medicines so the ENTERTAINMENT BUSINESS deserve some pay.

I also think that we all have a right to healing. Money is only a method of exchange.

Money isn't bad its poverty that's bad. When we are in balance then we can manifest anything we need.

I think that's all I have to say. This is my impact here!!

Namaste -

Blessings

Hi Theressa,

I'm so happy to hear your job is going well. Good for you that you were able to trust the message sent for which career path to take. It's a scary thing for most people and which is probably why most people are in jobs they hate. I do agree with the money thing that we should keep it perspective for its value to live rather than just the pursuit of it but I have to say I'm a little disappointed at the way pay scales seem to be trending. The rich keep getting richer and the poor poorer. I hold no animosity towards those who have it as I understand why people pursue it but I'm a little concerned about the skew factor. Not to say that entertainers don't deserve to be paid but when it costs a family of four a weeks pay to go to the movies while the actors get paid more money then they can spend in their lifetime it feels a little off kilter to me so I only go to the show maybe once or twice a year. I can't control the world but I do wish that we would start putting our money in more meaningful areas then just in the pockets of entertainers, sports figures, and corporate bigwigs. Hopefully one day the majority will get the point and start saying no to the inequity. Just my opinion. But you are definitetly on the right track with your healthy perspective on it. Because it is true that if we trust all that we need will be provided for us.

in short, by golly is that true. (talking from experience)

and as for your belief... tell it to the news people, they really don't seem to be aware yet of their responsability and effect on mass consciousness.... though we are slipping through.

(thnx theresa, michelle, chakra tom and gary)

Hello Digit,

I completely agree with you on the irresponsiblity of the news media. The negative reports they do put people in a negative frame of mind thus fueling more negative events. Unfortunately, though I think it is a viscious circle that will take a shift in humanity's thinking to change. Right now it seems people tend toward the melodramatic. The world has very much fallen into the victim mentality. So the news is really just giving the public what it wants as shown by ratings. It's tough to find but the only news I watch is my morning news with a group of anchors who are more humerous than serious. I get my updates on the world events and then enjoy a good laugh to shake off the negative effects. If they left and were replaced by more serious anchors I would probably stop watching the news.

ah, see, you've found more light news, its part of what you demand, and i know many many others want this kind of thing too. news that encourages, even empowers. but the problem with only going by supply and demand ignores what can be learned from retail....Idea stick the sweeties* on the counter and people will buy them whether they were demanding sweeties or not. "Out of sight, out of mind"? if all thats on the shelf is tar and pain, people will only buy tar and pain. lack of imagination is something we can all start to cure in others. we can all imagine a better world, and then live it, like Ghandi said "You have to be the change you want to see in the world".

there's been horrible desensitisation occurring all over from news reports. "the horror of our lives, for all to see" as Bill Hicks put it no longer has much meaning it might seem. hehe, possitive news stories... "Today, a young man on acid realised we are all one vibration experiencing itself subjectively...." Very Happy thousands, indeed millions of "miracles" are happening every day, think we could see some of that?

except living with the parents again, i havn't watched the news for a year, only catching the odd glimpse. I used to be a 24 hour news junkie, i thought i was keeping apprised of what's going on in the world... not just what "they" want us to see.

* sweeties are "candy" to those of you who don't speak 'british' Smile

if you allow yourself to access the braveness energy, try doing a search for the word "news" or "media" on educate-yourself.org it might frighten some of you, but worry not, as long as you are mindful that you are love, "they" can't do a daaaaang thing to yas. Smile

Hi Digit,

I can relate to what you are saying, the media cast a dark veil over our western society, be it television, radio, newspaper, etc...

On a strange turn of events, I finally found a job that feel like my thing, as a landscaper, with my past few years experience, this new company has had to step up in many areas, got a company truck, and I am in the position my previous boss was, very comfortable. In a strange twist though, I applied for the job an hour after it was posted, the company is called Aura, and the owners have a picture of Osho on the wall of their office, the boss James has done energy work, they both are the kind of people I feel very comfortable working for.

So, the point is we have met before briefly, and I could feel the energy connection, as could they. This is no coincidence, it comes from a positive state of mind. I too have seen the light.

And best of all, the world is changing very quickly, right before your eyes.

Hi All,

Chakratom well done on the job. The new people obviously mirror the new found behaviours in you. So you accept yourself more?

Blessings

Hi Theressa,

Cheers!

The job is amazing! My wage is way up from what I am used to, benefits, perks, paid lunch, overtime, and best of all, I can still wear my sandals instead of steel toes! And, it is a 10 minute bike ride to get to the shop to pick up the truck!

So, it has given me more faith in myself than any other job I have done. Doubt is not there, confidence has grown to be my primary energy I show, (and a sense of humour).

And another plus, the crew I work with is not like what I was expecting, they are pretty open minded, and care to talk of world issues rather that the usual crap that I am used to, like how drunk they got on the weekend, etc...

I started this post because I wanted to know if I was getting it, and it feels like I am, even people that are around me are doing better as I train further into being a spiritual healer, my friends are making more money, better health, and helping my closest friend deal with the passing of his father (who was never there) and the issue between his girlfriend and another friend (cheating). He is still in a world of depression, but I can rest knowing that I have let him decide for himself what he wants to feel, and being drunk, smoking a pack a day, and anger will eventually show him the light, if he wants to believe in dharma rather than karma.

Here is another interesting thing:

I got an email from James Redfield this morning calling for prayers for the Israel-Lebanon-Gaza situation, when I saw a headline later that claimed Israel would calm down the bombings. Hmmmmm, coincidence? Not likely.

Namaste

Peace

Blessings
