Prayers For A World On The Edge!

Good Morning! It is raining here in San Francisco,not quite noon yet,and I had a day yesterday. I have been having nerve pain in my left leg for two months now and I was out in the rain yesterday to return some movies to my local Blockbuster store which was up a long 5 block hill. Because of my chronic back pain and my heart condition,I had to take a city bus. I decided to take the bus back down also after finishing my transactions at the store. I had 3 new movies to watch with 3 free coupons, I waited for the return bus across the street. It came 10 min later but stopped short of the shelter and made me walk to the open door in the rain. I asked the driver why he didn't pull all the way up to the shelter and he yelled at me to sit down. I then asked for his driver number and he refused,and said he wasn't taking me anywhere,and for me to get off the bus. Then since I didn't,he called a supervisor. The next thing I knew, 6 SF police officers showed up to defend this driver from me,and then the supervisor came.Nothing came of it,I explained what happened to an officer and then to the supervisor.
I have worked in customer service for most of my working life,and ultimately had to retire from it because of strokes and several heart attacks.
I take this as a sign as how much we are on edge, or other people are on edge...I just asked for his driver number and he made a big to-do about it.I just sat on the bus and talked to the officer,and the supervisor,etc.
I hope that I was an instrument to teach that driver something about compassion,not to judge people from the outside[I do not appear to be physically disabled from the outside],and not to do his job on automatic.I apologised to the other passengers and the police,etc that my actions caused this incident.

Please pray for a world that lacks compassion and sympathy for the disabled and let us find our voice and not be criticized when we do speak out.

It is June of 2012 and I am jubilant after a weekend of celebration of PRIDE here in THE CITY BY THE BAY! My caregiver's came by on Sat and took me out to lunch,and marched in the OUT-for Immigration contingent in the PRIDE parade on Sunday. Then a friend who was evicted from his apt came over and visited me Sat eve, I offered him the use of my couch over the past several months,and whatever I have in my home for him...I gave him a pair of shoes yesterday!He used to be my massage therapist of several years ago.It is funny how the client is now helping him.I also help out 2 other families here in my building....but as I have health concerns of my own,holding steady...was almost in the hospital a few months ago for congestive heart failure[3 time in as many years],I just listen to my heart and follow my intuitive spirit. It is never wrong. As I said above...it was nice having a house full Sat and Sunday. The house and I filled with energy and we all vibrated with radiance and light.Thank you or your prayers,all of you out there...I know they reach my Angels and Heaven...I feel God with me at all times. He walks beside me and guides me. It has been awhile since I posted on here...it won't be as long again. I promise. Be with God.

Wow...just read your post and a wave of love and confirmation came over me
We CAN affect the world ...gratitude is especially powerful and I felt the powerful energy from your post...thankyou......such a confirmation you have been for me and now I send my gratitude and well wishes pack to you along with positive loving prayer energy for a world on the edge.

So glad you had such beautiful fellowhip this weekend and it is sweet to see how we change places with each other regarding our needs...kinda like a tag team scenario

TODAY I SEND PRAYERS FOR ONE OF MY CAREGIVER'S WHO IS UNDERGOING A COLONOSTOMY RIGHT NOW. MAY GOD'S BLESSINGS BE WITH ALL INVOLVED IN THE PROCEDURE AND I PRAY FOR ED'S RECOVERY AND A VERY HAPPY OUTCOME.....CANCER FREE!

IT IS FRIDAY,OVERCAST HERE IN SF...AND I HAVE LAUNDRY TO DO. MY MEALS HAVE BEEN DELIVERED ALREADY THIS AM! ONE LESS ITEM TO WAIT FOR TODAY...TO HOLD ME UP,ETC. The loving energy that surrounds us can be absorbed into us if we first remember that it's there,,,,,
second if we accept that we are intitled to it (just as we are)
and third if we only reach out for it..just as we would for the bubbles.

If I remember that energy is there...so close...Hmmm...another visual
just came to me.....
I'm holding a positive prayer intention in my hands and I reach out and pour it into the 'love liquid' that surrounds us.

This 'love liquid' is rather like the embryonic fluid that encases us in the womb.

Playing is good....thank you for your response...I learn something new each time I post here

And right now...well...as soon as I stop typing...I shall reach out and pour out my prayer for a world on the edge

I pray that I will not be 'overwhelmed' by 'a world on the edge'

The world is 'on the edge' of a wonderful shift...it is happening now

I pray that I will remember the positive connotation of 'a world on the edge' instead of the anxiety that comes to mind when I think about the state of the world

YOUR REPLY SOUNDED SO SERIOUS. JUST LISTEN...LIVING IN THE LIGHT AND SPIRIT IS LIKE BREATHING IN AND OUT. IT COMES NATURAL. SOMETIMES I GET THROWN OFF BALANCE,THEN I TAKE A HOT BATH,LISTEN TO MUSIC,MEDITATE...WHATEVER COMES TO ME.....FROM MY SPIRIT GUIDES/ANGELS...TO HELP ME CENTER MYSELF AGAIN. USUALLY IT IS NOTHING MORE THAN BEING IN MY APT AND BEING SURROUNDED WITH ALL THE GOOD VIBES COMING OFF MY COLLECTED PICTURES,SCULPTURES,BOWLS,ETC. I LOVE FRESH FLOWERS ALSO. THANKFULLY I HAVE A FARMER'S MARKET TO PURCHASE FRESH FLOWERS AND FOOD ITEMS FROM...ON DAYS I CAN GO OUTSIDE AND BREATHE!I HAVE BEEN THROUGH SEVERAL STROKES AND HEART ATTACKS..AND CONGESTIVE HEART FAILURE HOSPITALIZATIONS....BUT I AM STILL HERE!I CAN STILL TEACH OTHERS!I STILL HAVE VALUE AND I HELP 2 FAMILIES HERE AND A FRIEND AS STATED BEFORE. I suppose praying for a world on the edge starts with me
After reading your post I realize I was in a 'poor me' mode
Can't get the air conditioner in the window and my pup has something wrong with her leg
I've just been reminded that I'm not alone and that there are those with more challenges than me who know how to stop and remember that 'we are never alone'
