Giving the book away!

I noticed on another thread two people mentioned that they've given their copies of the book away.

I think there's something to be said about this... I have lent out so many copies of the book and I haven't gotten any of them back. My girlfiend has also had the same thing happen to her copies.

I actually bought two copies the last time I picked it up so that I could "lose" one and keep the other.

Another note: I remember a friend of mine telling me he put his name, city and state in his before "lending" it out, and encouraged others to do the same before they let it go. I'd love to see where his copy has been!

There's something about this book...

Heheh, kinda funny you mention that. A friend let me borrow Celestine Prophecy years and years ago. I would love to say that the copy I have now is one I acquired on my own later, but that doesn't sound realistic... I think I have my friend's "lost" copy.

Oh well, mine now! Until it gets passed along...

I'm glad I saw this thread...reminds me that after I post this I have to go to the used book store to pick up a copy of the Celestine Prophecy that I reserved yesterday...I might have forgotten and I do have to pick it up before closing time so I can give it to someone tomorrow.
I get them at value village and used book stores

I myself waited years before I finally read my copy...but when I was ready for it ...there it was,,,, already in my possession waiting patiently... to be a 'catalyst' for me

I try to remember my 'own' experience when I give this book to people
I try not to have expectations

'Letting go of expectations',,, re another persons personal journey as I 'let go' of the book is a good excercise for me

It said that there were 15 duplicates, but my guess is the quality of the copies varies.

Anyway, the search engine there isn't working very well right now.
