While I'm new to exploring this topic, and loving every minute of it (and will be working my way through reading down all of your threads), I wanted to share something cool that I found yesterday. It's an article that talks about how newts use bioelectricity to regenerate a limb that's been amputated. If I remember correctly from the article, something like 50x the amount of bioelectricity is flowing from the stump of an amputated limb that's regenerating, when compared to the bioelectricity found emanating from the non-amputated limb. Very cool stuff especially since we (and all living things) possess bioelectricity. Here's the link in case you'd like to read the article: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC431978 |

Very interesting! I was thinking yesterday about electricity flow through the various areas of the body - brain, nerves, etc. And how this can relate to the energy spoken of in the Celestine prophecy, how it could be used to enhance healing etc.
I read an interesting book over the summer, the name was something like "the bioelectric body" by a Dr Beck or Dr Becker (maybe Robert?). anyway, hendid a lot of early research on using currents to aid regeneration and was eventually able to use it in healing bones. Also stuff on different frequencies of electricity and which may help or be harmful. The govt and military eventually shut him down because of his findings on dangers o those huge powerlines.
Check it out if you get a chance, it's pretty scientific but very very interesting!
