Will 2008 be a year of mans effect on nature or natures effect on man?

I think you will find many of James insights in this story and I would love to hear what you think about this topic.

I decided this year my girlfriend and I would avoid the hoopla of the typical new years eve celebration. I could not think of a better place to do that then camping at the ¨Corral De Aqua¨, this very mystical, magical place is located in the foothills of the Andies Mountains, between Argentina and Chile, about 40 miles from where I live. As you weave your way through the valley of the Mapuche (the indigenous people of Chile) you enter a large canyon, the 1000 foot high granite cliffs protecting this place tower above you. I always have the feeling I am being watched by its guardian spirits as I enter this place. About half way into this valley you come around a corner in the gravel road and there coming from the cliff above, as if coming out of the stone itself is a 500 foot waterfall. This free falling cascade of water turns into a heavy mist as it enters the large volcanic pool that sits directly under it. The Mapuche call this place and the entire valley below ¨The Corral De Aqua¨ They say for many years it has held magical powers and that the guardian that lives here, protects the earth, they call him Ruka Pallin. They say he waters his horse in the Corral.

I first stumbled onto this place two years ago on the day I entered Chile for the first time. I felt back then as I did on this day that I was home as we pulled into the drive of the gatekeeper, Traru. He told me when I first met him that 40 years ago God had given him this place and ask him to watch over it until the next gatekeeper came.

Besides wanting to spend new years eve camping here I had come to give him one of the first Spanish copies of my book H.E.A.L. because he was one of the main characters and his ¨Corral De Aqua¨ its central theme. We exchanged greetings as we have always done, like long lost brothers. After doing some catching up, we set up our camp at the base of the waterfall, it was just getting dark so we started a fire. The river running past us and the waterfall created a magical roar, like that of natures band ready to bring in the new year. There seemed to be an energy field around us and as it grew darker the energy increased and the field seem to give off a glow. We sat in the glow meditating and greeted the new year with a prayer. I had such a deep peaceful feeling, like 2008 was going to be a year of meditation, prayer and gratitude. We turned in and from our tent watched as a storybook moon rose behind the waterfall illuminating it and our tent as if we were all in a spotlight. At that moment I heard God say ¨Look out, here comes 2008 and this will be a year of the Awakening.¨ I soon felt as if I had slipped into Gods hands and he was holding me as I fell asleep, I had many beautiful dreams of hope, love and compassion. I woke with the feeling that we were standing on the threshold of an amazing time to be alive, I looked out at the waterfall as the sun rose behind it and then from the trees around it came this very clear misty image of an angel with large wings, I woke up Florencia and we both watched as the image passed through the waterfall as if taking a shower, it paused for a second in the center and then on the cliff behind it appeared a very large red heart, it then rose and sped off as if heading for heaven. For almost an hour we watched as several more followed. I am a man of faith but I have to say I was very happy to have someone there to acknowledge what I was seeing.

Shortly afterwords I was sitting in deep meditation and had a vision of several of the people I have met here in Chile, we were all Mapuche and belonged to a large tribe that had once lived at the base of this waterfall. We had gone into hiding here from the Spanish conquistadors that were taking what ever they wanted from the surrounding valleys. We were invisible to them here and lived in safety. We knew we were protecting ourselves, our children and our land from them but more important we knew we were protecting a way of life. A way of life that included respect for all that existed and a belief that natures affect on man would far outweigh any effect man might have on it. We knew all we had to do was look around and in nature we would find answers to the problems that were knocking on our door.

I hope 2008 fills you with experiences of being effected by nature and in those experiences I hope you find the strength to believe as I now do that the effects nature has on us will far outweigh any effect we can have on it. May God Bless you all in 2008!

The year 2008 will be a year of spiritual progress as the rest of the world is thrown into a period of conflict and war. The next ten years will cause a depression in USA economy and will force radical reactions from the USA. People in other countries alligned with the EU will feel a downturn in economy but will essentially be better off than most other places. The wars will continue, hunger, famine, plagues, natural disasters will increase. Many people will come to the faith as these things are happening, most will resort to violent acquisition of resources.

So I dont think 2008 will be a period of awakening nor will it be an issue of nature over man or man over nature. It will be humanity striving to maintain wealth and greed as the highest priority as has been the case for the past millenium.

Personally, i think it would be nice to escape it all but instead we are forced to pray for these things that are delaying our spiritual progress as a whole.

My father use to say to me while I was growing up, ¨Ziggy be very careful what you wish for!¨ I did not realize until yesterday in reading Ephestion response to my posting (I thank you for taking your valuable time to let me know what you see in your future) how powerful my fathers words have been in effecting me today. Looking back on my life now I realize I was always careful about ¨what I wished for¨ because over and over the things I wrote down and planted like seeds in my mind, those that I really, really believed would happen, DID! I use to think it was like I was receiving premonitions of my future and that writing them down was a way of preserving them. However after watching the Secret for the first time I realized that I was creating a clear image of what I wanted in my life and that the clear concise photograph I placed in my mind created what followed 100% of the time. I think if you have read my other postings on this site you will understand I am now very careful about the things I wish for and put in writing, making sure they are positive and good for my life and those around me. That is one of the great gifts in this life, we each get to make our own choice. I know many people think I live in a fairytale and you know what, they are right, I do! Because that is something I have been wishing for for a long, long time.

Wow, I just reread this post and have to say that in the last four months my life has been full of the effects nature has had on me and I know that from my conversations with many of you nature has also had a deep effect on you. Together we are all experiencing the pull of Mother Earth. The 20 plus million people going through the New E.A.R.T.H. class is a very clear sign that we are for sure on the verge of an amazing Awakening. Lets all increase the positive, loving, healing energy we give off to the Earth and to those around us and watch as this wave of light spreads to become " A Tidal Wave of Unconditional Love that comes to the shore of humanity around us and washes Over Mother Earth! Healing all that it touches"

First, thank you for lighting up my eyes with that beaUtiful wave!

And then, thank you for posting today, Ephestion, so that I had the joy of reading this posting. I am filled with awe at how many truths can be right before us. They seem to conflict, to disagree, and many of us will waste time or energy 'arguing' over these truths. Suddenly I am having opportunity after opportunity to see how many truths get to live on this Earth around us.

Isn't it becoming so seeable (for me) that God gives us all of these classes that we can choose to attend. We can play in 'fairytale' land, creating love, promoting wisdom, healing, insights? We can hone our debate skills with all the the truths of the time in History. We can latch onto a piece of History as if it is the final answer. We can focus on the information. We can focus on the lesson. We can focus on the purpose.

Wow.
I am in awe at how joyful I feel in this freedom of my healing and my growth. I don't have to fix anybody anymore in order to love them.

You are both so right in seeing how much is going on. So much His/Her Story. Are we not lucky to be in the middle of this.. ?!! Meet you in the Prayer Groups!

Greetings everyone,

It took my breath away to see that title wave of unconditional Love. I feel it all around my life. There is so much we each do just by being responsible for our thoughts and feelings..for me being of service to the greater good is found , felt , and poured out of each of us through this way of loving , living , motion of doing, here and now.

Ziggy your experience was breathtaking. Farther than you know, it touched me deeply..Thank you for your ability to place that in my heart. It must be so very beautiful in Chile. I felt the whole waterfall wash over me in healing. I will carry it with me all ways and always, as a symbolic sign of these times..Forward living , healing , sharing , caring , loving without agenda..

gentle2u, I remember when I first saw that wave it rolled over me and filled me with love. It is so beautiful here in Chile winter is coming and I love fall so much all the color wakes you up to the life in nature.
