I first read The Celestine Prophesy many years ago but recently picked up my copy of the Tenth Insight and reread the last few chapters, which seemed to speak to me afresh, about 'holding the vision'. I have been following my spiritual path since birth, really, lucky enough to be born into a community of simple christian faith and an ethos of Sunday School. And right from that young age, felt I 'knew' God,had faith. The rest of my story would fill many books, but suffice it to say, that that 'knowing' and faith has been challenged, almost constantly, each twist and turn of my path an opportunity for growth.Sometimes I felt crushed and lost,at others, ecstatic and inspired but somehow that great muscle of faith grew, and carried me on to the next lesson and the next... It is still doing that and I look forward to sharing the insights of others via this unique forum.
I think I also need to add that my journey has taken me far outside of my comfort zone,of formalised religion and conventional medicine, and from stable family life to being divorced and meeting my soul mate, who died exactly four years after we met.I have lived alone ever since, working until recently in alternative medicine. _________________ Health. All I am capable of being. |

That great muscle of faith allways leads us to where it is we belong, inside ourselves. Best of all to you and your journey.

Thank you for your reply to my 'introduction' post,Ziggy.Yes,'The Kingdom is within'.And so how very necessary it is to have an inner life. In my experience working within the community in the UK, so many people today, living in their heads.'Ithink, therefore Iam'.So many reasons for this,in the 21st century, but here, the effects of two world wars undoubtedly caused a mass 'shutting down',post traumatic shock and the subsequent effect on the well being of all the population, phsychologically and physically.Seen in perspective,of course, all part of evolution and the growth of humanity, the Universe. But is'nt it so important now,as we experience the re-sensitisation process of enlightenment,to share on a broader scale, the actual experience of this?Words these days, hardly adequate to express the full spectrum, highs and lows, extremes and polarities,as we are tested 'in nerve and sinew'.Too easy for the ego to exert its habitual roles,to 'protect' us from the 'discomfort ' of truth and reality, and for us to slip back into its deadly routine. I know I have needed every bit of that faith, even more, as the older I get,the harder become the tests! And needed to FEEL that faith, even as the tiniest tremor of reassurance and love, the still, small voice, within.May we all feel that more and more. All good wishes,Ziggy. _________________ Health. All I am capable of being. |
