Hello everyone,
I had written heaps of stuff, all about me, my background, struggles, my thoughts, what brought me here etc etc. I was ready to hand out the cushions and chamomile tea for those of you willing to actually sit and read through what would have been a very long piece of writing to read through, and also to write. And where would it have ended, and would it have really contained me, and even if it did is all that really all that important. Yes and no, for there are always many sides. Yet I realized the day was getting on and I had been sitting at a computer for a very long time and I hadn't eaten. So I went downstairs and made myself some food and sat watching the rest of Vanilla Sky (my synchronicity seems to be lavishing a lot of these types of films on me - the other day it was Knowing which even mentions synchronicity!) and then I came upstairs and deleted all I had written and wrote this instead. For many years ago, when I was chatting online, after a while finding a really nice chatroom called Gorpies (the welcome note on the room read 'relax, have fun, and enjoy yourself whilst respecting others') I used to resist the demand for ASL (Age/Sex/Location) that one got in other chat areas usually, as I felt cyberspace was a place where we could all explore wider realms of ourselves, outside the boxes and labels. So my profile in that chat environment had a statement to this effect and invited people to get to know me over time - if we ever really do know someone that is. Anyway to cut something which is getting long a bit shorter, I thought why am I limiting myself then here? Sure, our experiences are a big part of us all, yet they can also hold us back. Simply, I am here and I know sometimes, when I can sustain it (for this is what I am finding is the difficult part but I am getting better at it), I am feeling all a-tingle, especially when I concentrate on love and the energy grows. I have wanted to be happy all my life and, although there were times I was happy, for the most part I wasn't. Yet now I have chosen just to be happy, and there is a calm serenity. And that is all I want to say at this time for I don't want this to end up being some ego trip, which I felt my previous verbose writing was going to be. The colours I had put were real pretty yet it isn't about that really, or at least that is my feeling.
I am really glad and feel right being here and I look forward to journeying along the road with some of you by my side at times, sharing experiences, growing et al. We won't of course always agree with each other or think the same, yet if our intentions are good and pure I think that is the most important thing. Plus diversity is beautiful.

Hey Sis! You forgot to disappear in a puff of smoke with a scent of Sandalwood. Wink *huggles the stuffins outta ya* Welcome, Ash, it's beyond awesome to see you here. How did you find your way here? How did you first learn about "The Celestine Prophesy?"

Thanks for writing us. I find it hard to read long posts here. Some of

that is technical; it would be easier if this double spaced. I will attempt to

do that so y'all can read my entry Laughing

Coming from belief systems that don't work, why wouldn't we have

so many ups and downs? Tis the way this culture is until we decide

to change it.

Happiness is ephemeral; contentment and peace seem to find more

of a constant within, don't you think?

I also think if we stop running and being so darn busy all the time

that we have a chance to even go within. I don't watch much tv, rarely

the news and definitely I do not read the newspapers or the media spew.

If it bleeds it leads.

I would rather create a life of simplicity; simple walks, meet a friend

for a meal or drinks or both, look for friendship rather than a partner.

Doing the former means you just might make a new friend. Romance

can come much later if at all.

Who says we have to buy into this crapola? From where I stand it

isn't working too well for the majority of the people. Simplicity is key.

Creating reasonable expectations and finding the joy in the moments.

From Pierre Teilhard de Chardin –
"“Love alone is capable of uniting living beings in such a way as to complete and fulfill them, for it alone takes them and joins them by what is deepest in themselves.”

But oh, to reach the Omega Point; that single, elegaic orchestral sound, more beautiful than it has a right to be. That moment when everything unites. And that...is magic!

Namaste ~ Susan
