Greetings from Australia,
As this is an introduction area I felt it would be good to not just introduce myself but my family also. I live in country Victoria in a mountainous area which is beautiful, I remember first arriving here over 10 years ago and falling in love with nearby river and mountains, for me it was a very powerful place to raise my family and to finally enjoy life. My family is as follows, my awesome wife Cindy who is my soul mate, my eldest child Rebecca who is currently finishing off her Higher education, Ashley is my second born she seems a little lost in life and what it demands of her, Alexandra (the middle child) is just a ball of energy that doesn't stop, she is just finishing grade 6 of primary school, Nathan is my only boy who I butt heads with (I see so much of myself in him its not funny) and finally Jordynne is my youngest who has only been in school for 2 years, she is my baby and she appropriately fits into that role - sometimes to often. Finally there is me, Jason. I'm 39 years old and am self employed.
My journey (I'll leave my journey for other topics) to arrive to just signing up to the forums has been a long one but I'm glad I've finally stepped out and made the connection. I hope I can be a great contributor to the forums and the people that regularly read up on whats happening here and now.

Hey mate,
Thanx heaps for the welcome and the reply. Yes I consider myself and my family to be one, this is very important to me. Unfortunately I haven't seen my Father since I was 18 and my mother for around 10 years. I have a younger sister that I haven't seen for a couple of years also. I had two older brothers that passed in the same year around the time I stopped seeing my sister and mother. Basically I'm trying to say that not all my family has been around just the one I have started myself. I had made a determined decision growing up that I would not allow myself to repeat the past.
I have recently started to introduce some of the concepts of the CP to my children with great results and understanding from them, I find children are able to pick it up a lot quicker than adults, maybe because they haven't formed opinions on life yet and aren't as closed off in their minds. I laugh though as they tend to take in so much energy that they start bouncing off the walls and it can be difficult to keep them balanced. It's a process!

Anywho drop me a PM if you would like to talk some more. I read your introduction post and can relate as I have experienced some trying times with addiction as well from my early years. Stay safe, stay positive and remember that regardless of which direction you are travelling in it's always forwards.
