What do the colours mean?

I haven't tried to 'see' the energy in a long time now. When I started after the reading the book on shamanism and after much practice, I could see a light blue smoky mist. I then started to visit a spiritualist church once a month or so and tried to 'see' as it is a really comfortable environment to do so because they only want you to send out loving energy. The woman, who was the head of the church, stood about 12ft in front of me and I got into the zone, so to speak. I saw a lilac orb above her head and a shimmery gold light. The feeling I experienced afterwards was euphoric. I didn't know what the colours meant, also I felt intuitively that this woman did not like me as I didn't find her very welcoming.

Please could someone lead me the right way because I lost sight of what was important after a while. I find it hard to switch off at night and would love to learn how to meditate.

I have only glimpsed a snippet of what IS. I am thankful that there are like minded souls out there, but I need guidance. A lot of things have been happening to myself and others around me and any advice is welcomed x

I would think you would be able to search colors online to find out their meaning. Not sure if it relates to auras but there might be some info because I don't really think James ever went into colors specifically. With that being said, I am unclear what you mean by, 'lost your way.' But I surmise you mean you fell out of the flow of life. For that I simply suggest reminding yourself to let go and let life. Let life happen for you allowing it to take you where it will. When we can get to that state of allowing things tend to fall into place for us much like how they all worked out for the characters in Jame's books. Hope that helps.

Just posted about my dream and your response before I read this. I have tried looking online about meanings of colours, but it seems everyone has their own interpretations. I find it really hard to let go and don't know what is holding me back. I guess that's why I was lead here. Funnily enough, my name is Michelle. This is very cool that others are experiencing this too. Colors mean different things. For example in late 2008 I had my awakening with a bunch of Trees. Since that point on, I've seen auras around Trees. They have a bluish tint, sometimes not really even a color but a presence. Try tall evergreens like Doug Fir. Look towards the top and do that relaxation mode.

One practice in the movie is to do the between the fingers trick. That's cool and sometimes too, if you look and gaze you'll see energy around your hand. My color around my hand is aqua (bluish-green). I've been told I am to be a healer/teacher.

All of this was overwhelming for a person raised BAPTIST and having college degrees in Accounting and Business which made me think logical for 38 years, now after the awakening, I prefer to feel instead of think. Other side of brain, trying not to think at all.

For FUN, try this. It's not in any book to my knowledge but I discovered it. The Bathtub is a great place to meditate. To see how Auric energy works this is a slam dunk. Take a bath and do a bubble bath. Now, once the bubbles are there, scoop a handful. Look at a large bubble at an angle and you will see it dance with energy. You should be able to see the colors of the rainbow within that bubble. It should flow like a wave. Have fun.

Oh on the colors, this might help. If you see certain colors over a person's head it's an indicator of how their energy is at the moment in time.

Like for example my friend was speaking about highly spiritual things and he had a purplish/bluish glow to him that other saw as well. Like a light bulb, well that means he was at a spiritual connection point.

Gold for example could mean very knowledgeable.
Green for healing
Red could be aggressive or a grounded person

Me too. SInce I was a child I used to see like e"energy" around people's head. It usually happened at church. Every Sunday when we went to church I started to look around to people and I saw like a small yellow light around their heads. I thought it was something normal. I never told to anyone, because I think it was no necessary.Until I was older and during a meeting I saw a collegue talking about a project and everybody were very quiet and suddenly I saw two colors around her head orange and yellow. I was shocked, I didn't know what was that, so I started to look for information about that. Months later I saw the colors again to another person. And that was all. I've never seen colors again. Sometimes I can see the yellow energy on plants or people.

vision is a curious thing..supposedly the image on our eyeball..is upside down[but we all know that..less known is that the colors stimulate substances that connect the nerves to the mind..in its material level its chemical energy

but at the higher levels colours are startelingly 'fleuro like
and in the higher levels of hell its greyish murky smokey..regardless of color

light itself has different colours that combine to make the light as it is

see light is a particle..that acts in event[cause]..events that release INDIVIDUAL photons..but in specific events..think like an avalanch=wave

of say a mound of garbage..it falls..and out pop a variety of chairs
the red chairs vibrate fast..the blue chairs are fatter so their wave is shorter..they all dont travel at the same speed..but there is so many junk piles colouring up the wave spectrums
