One Night four rabbinim were visited by an angel who awakened them and carried them to the Seventh Vault of the Seventh

Heaven. There they beheld the sacred Wheel of Ezekiel.

Somewhere in the descent from Pardes, Paradise, to Earth, one Rabbi, having seen such splendor lost his mind and wandered

frothing and foaming until the end of his days.

The second Rabbi was extremely cynical: "Oh i just dreamed Ezekiel's Wheel, that was all. Nothing really happened."

The third Rabbi carried on and on about what he had seen, for he was totally obsessed. He lectured and would not stop with

how it was all constructed and what it all meant... and in this way he went astray and betrayed his faith.

The fourth Rabbi, who was a poet, took a paper in hand and a reed and sat near the window writing song after song praising

the evening dove, his daughter in her cradle, and all the stars in the sky. And he lived his life better than before.

*********************************************************************************************************************

Who saw what in the Seventh Vault of the Seventh Heaven, we do not know. But we do know that contact with the world

wherein the Essences reside causes us to know something beyond the usual hearing of humans, and fills us with a feeling of

expansion and grandeur as well. When we touch the authentic fundament of The One Who Knows, it causes us to react and

act from our deepest integral nature.

The story recommends that the optimal attitude for experiencing the deep unconscious is one of neither too much fascination

nor too little, one of not too much awe but neither too much cynicism, bravery yes, but not recklessness.

Jung cautions in his magnificent essay "The Transcendent Function" that some persons, in their pursuit of the Self, will

overaestheticize the God or Self experience, some will undervalue it, some will overvalue it, and some who are not ready for it

will be injured by it. But still others will find their way to what Jung called "the moral obligation" to live out and to express what

one has learned in the descent or ascent to the wild Self.

This moral obligation he speaks of means to live what we perceive, be it found in the psychic Elysian fields, the isles of the

dead, the bone deserts of the psyche, the face of the mountain, the rock of the sea, the lush underworld - anyplace where La

Que Sabe breathes upon us, changing us. Our work is to show we have been breathed upon - to show it, give it out sing it out,

to live out in the topside world what we have received through our sudden knowings, from body, from dreams and journeys of all

sorts.

Hi,

in answer to Grahame's question and idea, I agree that from the perspective that all things are in fact one thing, (which science and various human experience repeatedly shows us that it is) 'Love' contains everything... even fear.

For me, this is a very Buddhist perspective, to look at things in this way. Because this view is that step up into total Compassion and resonance with All that Buddha described as the 'final' step into Enlightenment, as described in that belief system. It is to step off of the karmic wheel, to no longer live in that reality that your experience is determined by cause and effect, good and evil, duality, if you will. To no longer view people as 'other', to no longer accept the concept of separation on a personal level. It is to see yourself in everything. It is that ultimate leap into being personally responsible for all that I observe and experience and feel.

If then, I am responsible for everything I am observing and feeling, as a creator, as one who contains all of the potentials, I can begin to see that there is no end. I can begin to understand that field of literal, infinite Possibility. That there is no final anything.

This is such a personally liberating space to be in. If anything is possible, and it is, then this world we are all partaking in, this reality we all create together in, can be anything we decide it is, for ourself.

This is why I was so impressed with the interview with Sonia Barrett that I posted yesterday. ( http://www.celestinevision.com/celestine/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2110 )
We do tend to put our emPHAsis on the wrong sylLABle... It is not about how we collectively create so much as how we individually perceive, that changes the collective reality.

For instance, if I change my perspective about my son's mother, as I have, then her love for me - that in our experience we both denied - becomes apparent. And when I did that, changed my perspective of her, it was not just that I changed my reality. The change in my perception energetically changed her reality. With respect to her relationship with me, she no longer was stuck vibrationally into that role I was boxing her into. She was free to again be herself and therefore able to more peacefully explore yet another possibility with me, being friends, colleagues in the raising of our son. She was no longer being the failed divorced mother that she felt she had been to the outside world...

If I change my perspective, then the deep, profound love that we all have for one another, express to one another and demonstrate to one another through these painful melodramas is not only clear, it is felt. This is true not just for me, but for everyone.

This creation, this world we are all now experiencing, is HUMAN, because we are human. The passion that drives despots, capitalists and missionaries is all the same passion. It is a passion for experience, a passion for awareness of ALL things, the profane as well as the holy.

And that brings me to littlebird's wonderful question, "why is it THAT WE FEAR LOVE?"

Why indeed...

In view of what we have been discussing this week, it seems that the problem is identification doesn't it?

We believe...
what the governments say to us all of the time, that we need help, that we need jobs, that we need drugs, that we need protection, that we need democracy installed etc etc...
what the corporations say to us all of the time, that we need this sugar substitute, that we need better erections, that we need this skin care product, that we need this insurance for cancer and that insurance in case we get sued, that we need this pet rock, that we need a big sport utility vehicle, that we need...
and thus we have our experiences within these belief systems.

We will believe what a parent said to us one time when we were 13 that made us feel inadequate to draw pictures or to play a musical instrument or to make jokes.
We will believe our first lover who, after we allowed ourself to open up to and be vulnerable with, made us feel fat or unattractive or unskilled.
We will believe in the power of that one moment in our past when one person or one thing made us feel limited.
We will believe these singular moments and hold on to these moments as definitive of who we are as individuals decades after the experience itself, which was, objectively seen, contextual and limited in scope.

We identify with all of that stuff even though it is just stuff. We hold on to, and allow, those moments to put us in a box for-e-v-e-r...
And we sit in our miseries, tears and shallow perceptions of ourself and hope and pray and beg the heavens to send some One to save us, some One to love us just the way we are now.

And we do that never recognizing how quick and responsive the Universe is responding to us, because in every moment, that some One is right there. All we have to do is be willing to see the response, accept the answer. All we have to do is look inside. Be still. Say I love you to the reflection in the mirror.

Have you ever done that? Stand at a mirror and say I love you. Say it as you look at your chubby cheeks. Say it as you look at your weak chin or your whacko eyebrows or whatever it is you do not like about your Self. Say it as you look deep within your own eyes, the way you always wished a lover would. Say it until you mean it, feel it, cry from the passion of it.

I do not know how to convey the experience, the literal feeling of Universal Oneness. One is either open to that experience and has it, or one does not.

But you can love your self. That is a decision. That comes from knowing and it comes from an inner agreement with yourself to live what you know. If one truly loves one's self, there is no fear of anyone or anything. There is no fear of death because death is an illusion....

Can any of us remember when we were not? Do you have any reason to believe you will ever not be? There is no credible evidence of either being the case. And yet this fear is so powerful that multi-national corporations and religions and governments have manifested to comfort us within this fear.

I believe the inherent power each of us have within our own lives is staring at us all of the time. In every moment, we give ourselves the evidence of our divinity.

You have to be curious enough to want to see it though. You have to have the determination to trust your own sense of this, regardless of what the world says.

In deep and grateful Love for all of You,
Steve

Yes Steve...well said.
When my mother was in her death bed in a obscure hospital ,tubes in her throat and arms ,a beautiful strong ,loyal, good christian mom, I was besides her praying to whomever Higuer Power could be ...-please, if she has to go may it be in peace !...I knew that something was missing for her, that she needed something that was not there yet...old friend Fear was there besides me-you will be alone...life will be so much sad without her...she is your only friend...nobody will ever understand you again if she is gone, life will be a deserted land-he whispered for many days ...it was indeed a very difficult time I had just divorced, and we were really good friends...but I could not bear her suffering so I asked -Oh God,send whatever she needs to heal even if it means she will leave...-
well as i told here before...it was a bit more forceful than that Smile -send help now!-I cried...and then it happened , in the middle of her suffering and my pain seeing her like that...I saw a tiny copper-gold like net that was the structure of her body, the net continued covering her hospital bed , all the gadgets at her side, my body ,the wall, the window, and the solitary tree outside her window...then I got it all Is One , this is thenet of Universal Love...that connects us all...my mind went very fast , it came to me , as JR describes a whole package of thought, that she was a work of Love, so was the hospital bed that someone had made to make more comfortable the patients stay, so were the gadgets, the walls of that place were erected out of compassion , so was the window and the tree...so was my fear of losing her...we were floating in a sea of Universal Love .... then I knew that she will be fine, that All was ok, thatshe would heal...
She did heal from pneumonia , lived 11 more days ...said goodbye to all those that loved her, prayed the most amazing prayer I have ever seen...her face beamed in Joy and Trust...and began her journey to the Other side...in graceful Peace...
The day she left the church prayer read " I am leaving cause the Father has called me...but you will not be alone , the Holy Spirit will come to you" then I cried in joy realizing that her Love will always be there for me...that cord, the golden net will ever be cause it is Eternal ...it is Universal Love expressed in human experience ...
And sure as the summer wind that blows in my shoulder this eve...she is here now, smiling...
that is my best description of the Oneness experience.
And yes, we have both done the mirror exercise you talk about Steve...we have done that inner work for years , by then...so yes , indeed that is the 1st step...and sure it is a choice.
It has been a privilege and a joy to be part of this thread.
Namaste to all

I love this statement Patricia. Smile

It is a privilege. That we are here as individuals allowed to have our very own experience and perception, and further, that it is also necessary to the rest of the Universe that we do so consciously, is why I stress the personal responsibility within this awareness.

At a certain point within an increased awareness, as knowledge of one's personal creation(s) is(are) gained, the mental, habitual comforts we take in making statements like, 'well, I am only human...' become clearly self-defeating, perpetuating a reality with which one no longer resonates.

It may seem like 'work' to live with such impeccability, but when the basis of it is a knowing, knowing on the level of knowing how to ride a bicycle, then the ride becomes care-free, and that joy you also mentioned becomes a more frequent and consciously lived experience.

So, thank you!
Very Happy

Hi to all
I use the wording Love the Universal kind, cause the word Love has been too much used and abused...can be confusing to some , so I prefer UL .
Yes , the integration of opposites is where wholeness inhabits.
Perhaps we can speak of polarities instead.
As Steve says :
Letting go of our ingrained beliefs and rationalizations for ideas such as good and evil, trust and treachery, is what allows one to actually see what is.
too much rationalization lead us away from experience...
what the Tao is in essence to me is to experience the flow...and that is always in present time.
remember that Love the Universal kind is something one opens to...and let flow though oneself...Redfield says:You open yourself to the beauty of a tree...
quoting again what SL posted :
Quote:
Flow in the living moment. — We are always in a process of becoming and NOTHING is fixed. Have no rigid system in you, and you'll be flexible to change with the ever changing. OPEN yourself and flow, my friend. Flow in the TOTAL OPENESS OF THE LIVING MOMENT. If nothing within you stays rigid, outward things will disclose themselves. Moving, be like water. Still, be like a mirror. Respond like an echo
.
That would be the only thing I can tell u Grazie...trust it arrives at the perfect moment for u and helps...

Thanks, Steve, SL and P. I think I'm beginning to see and feel it in life too: That the people who can offer me help are already there and when the question is asked, the answer isn't far behind. Already in the past few days I've experienced some of this at work and I feel I'm getting used to the idea and opening to it. Believe my Guides have been very vocal on the topic as well. so I'm on my way. Wink

Namaste.

hi all ,your questions and answers here have help me so very much.i`m now a recovered addict thanks to the celestine vision.the greatest leap for me has been to understand the difference between fear and love.fear allowed some very self centered people to get close to me(yes iwas completely self centered) and for want of better words, used me to they own end and i them. And that fear destroyed my life, but learning to understand love in its many different guises has allowed me to embrace life and open my heart and mind in ways i never dreamed possible.so every day i open my heart and the divine love in and slowly my sense of worth returns.here`s to the journey,Namaste and love to all Very Happy

Guidance from Eileen Caddy
Be Willing
Keep your hearts open to one another. Look for the highest good in each other and work from that higher level of consciousness. Encourage each other in every way possible; every soul needs encouragement. You will find as you help others that you help yourselves to grow at the same time. It is a two-way thing. The more you give the more you will receive, so give and give and count not the cost. Be willing to give all and hold nothing back. Be willing to lose everything to gain the things that really matter in life, the things of the spirit which are from everlasting to everlasting. A whole new world is unfolding; remember to give constant thanks for everything.

Hi,

Yes, a whole new world is unfolding before our eyes. Meanwhile, the old world is dying, lying in dust....

I fear love, because it is fierce and so intense.

Interesting comment my dear little bird.Tks for posting it!

You say :"I fear love, because it is fierce and so intense."

Yes , sometimes it is possible we fear what giving in to Love may ask us to do....or to stop doing...Isnt that interesting?
Coincidentally I am seated at a cafe and at the moment I am reading your post , a message in someone´s t-shirt calls my attention :
There is a point of no return, and that is the point we must arrive to, F. Kafka

and that reminds me of a quote I got at the beggining of my process :
Courage is not the absence of Fear...it is the mastering of Fear.. Mark Twain

Dear CVs:
This thread has been certainly heavenly ... cant be more grateful for it when I see the quotes I posted before the earthquake ,reread your contributions to it and all what my country ,my family and myself been through ...well it is impressive I post them again so my contribution this time may follow that thread :

Our work is to show we have been breathed upon - to show it, give it out sing it out,
to live out in the topside world what we have received through our sudden knowings, from body, from dreams and journeys of all sorts.

(taken from Women who run with the wolves, Clarrisa Pinkola Estes)

There is a point of no return, and that is the point we must arrive to.
F. Kafka
Courage is not the absence of Fear...it is the mastering of Fear..
Mark Twain
The moral obligation to live what we perceive... Our work is to show we have been breathed upon, to live what we have received..from journeys of all sorts
the point of no return , the mastering of Fear...all these conceots have become alive in a dramatic fashion...
living through the quake and the blackout was easy compared to going through the aftermath, now that "normal" life slowly returns , the collective psyche is shaken , down here we have experience chaos ,confusion ,and huge amounts of pain...been a volunteer to the disaster area was a painful experience, for the many stories of loss heard , on one side but also cause the lesson in uncertainty , community behavior and human nature I got .All the systems we as a modern society have been accustomed to have failed... water and electricity was off,so no tv or radio to get information was possible ,banks were unable for five days to function, there was no money left on the cash machines ,grocery shops only accepted cash, celular and normal phones were off with every aftershock, rhe soil under our feet has been shaking so often that we do not know now if it is us or the ground that is moving , social chaos on the hard hit zones had made the military presence a need for most...and finally the blackout on most of the country last sunday left again the lingering feeling that it is not over... rumors of all sorts say that there is another big quake coming this weekend ...so everybody keeps being in emergency mood...
In a society´s climate like this my question has been , and now what?
what is my part in all this? how do I keep my own Fear on check , how do I maintain myself in Love and Joy so I can radiate it out?
what is my mission now?
My answer has been meditation ,to find the stillpoint in the eye of the storm, reaching out for help when overwhelmed ,count my blessings as many times a day as necessary...to look at the flowers in my autumn garden, to caress my dogs and my kids,to watch the sunset on my bike, to paint my mandala playfully...
mastering the Fear is an everyday job these days , remembering that uncertainty is the most certain thing we have, that all sense of security in a western society is just illusion and knowing in my heart that we have reached a point of no return , personally and collectively are my pillar thoughts , the anchoring i need to be back to a place of Loving expansion , instead of Fearful contraction...
why a point of no return, u may ask, cause I feel there is no more time left, that we need to practice what we have been learning all these years, that I must put in place now a more sustainable way of living, getting of the grid and on the roof those solar panels that I´ve been wondering about, taking care of the seeds we planted with my kids in the summer...
change is here , and it is now...no more theory guys on this shaken land...from now on it is all practice , practice, practice...
even though I do not know what is ahead ...I do trust the process , and I am willing to flow with whatever IS
Namaste
P
Ah, my guides have sent this as a reminder...

Fear is the root cause of all bad behavior. It is because of a fear of something that we hate or strike out or simply act selfish. Love is its opposite because when we are in it we are living from a total lack of fear. Fear being the negative emotion that drives us to behave badly and love being the positive emotion that drives us to do good unto the world.

Love,
Michelle

I've considered this myself and it made sense to me for awhile. But after pondering this very issue for a long time I've returned back to the belief that hatred is indeed the opposite of love. Just like ego is the opposite of the higher self. Fear is the CENTER of the 2 extremes because it can be used for both love AND hate. We fear being attacked by a bear so out of self-love we protect ourselves. We fear that something bad may happen to our children so out of love we protect them. It's because of these reasons I have to believe that fear is the middleground between the 2 opposites of love (higher self) and hate (ego).
