Yes absolutely , I agree. when we are not willing to step out of the comfort zone, the real danger is exactly that, we may miss an opportunity to learn and grow. That is the real test of our willingness , the choices we make will determine the outcome. We go in the flow of our destiny by choosing.
That is why I speak of lerned helplessness, we may have learned that stepping out of the comfort zone is not safe ,like the bird that grows in a cage , and when the cage door is opened , doubts at the chance of freedom. Could be very hard to venture out.

Choices , but also...how free are we to choose? only after we work through our fears, we can really choose.
Also our choices must be made when we are calm , centered and not anxious or tired , or frightened ,having listened to our ,soul ,mind,intuition, our feelings and our senses, in a word , aligned.
Then the power harnessed will propel us forward.
But it is also true that if something is in the way for us , the opportunity will most probably present itself again.
That is Heaven compassion with us , while we learn .

At the age of six, I had a horrible nightmare. One a child that age wouldn't be able to define. I was driving a car with my aunt when suddenly her decapitated head was in my lap. NO child could know what that looked like...I had never even seen blood like that! My parents calmed me down and I was sent back to bed. Two weeks later my Aunt died. I was told it was a heart attack until at the age of 14 during a fierce argument with my father he accused me of killing her! I had been beaten with a belt, a switch a hand..whatever was available for 8 long years when they knew the truth all along. Nuts? Crazy? No one on this site should think that about themselves or anyone else whose opinions differ. With that information, I grabbed my guitar and left home...at 14...and hitchiked across the US. Sometimes drowning my curse with booze and drugs, sometimes realizing there was more....I'm glad I found the latter to be the way to go!

I've seen light or auras, whatever you want to call them since I had that dream. I've had dreams of devastation that I could do nothing about, I've astral projected at will for the past 6 years, I see the world differently, and there is a reason. I am a Synaesthetic. Diagnosed just a few years ago. Where people see air, I see pixels...only way to describe it really...and I see those pixels come together to form frames and shadows of those still here or trying desperately to communicate. I here frequencies, non-stop...even over loud music...even Rob Zombie can't flood them out. And very rarely.....if I listen to them closely...they come together as one tone, where there usually literally millions of them! I see things before they happen....crystal balls aren't necessary...nor is touching someone or being near them. it's a curse...it's a gift. I choose to use it as the latter and live far out in the country in a big farmhouse as to not have the influences of the drama of the city. People still find me....and I never ever charge....that to me is very wrong...gifts are meant to share.

Do or say what you will with this information, but know this. In order for us to truly become one again with the universe, you must first understand a policy I call "Cross Tolerance" This means that every human being...even those who would harm us, are entitled to their opinions and cultures, no matter how vulgar we believe they may be. We have to learn to communicate in order to commune. Only then will we be able to have a peaceful existence

It was something I always wanted to see. I have never seen it with physical eyes...but I did have a very clear dream once where I did the thing with holding the hands together and then apart and saw the energy flow between the two...it was amazing and beautiful and I have longed to see it in the physical ever since.

Just recently when I was in a heightened energy state I did see the glow around everything for a short time. It has encouraged me that such phenomena are attainable and one doesnt have to be in Tibet to do it.... I was on Morecambe promenade (you have to be English to know why that's funny!)

I too saw aura's as a child, always first thing in the morning and ony around certain trees but they were usually white. Even today i am sensitive to other peoples auras but i can no longer see them( a shimmery mirage sort of thing at best). i do the finger trick as shown on the movie and i can see my aura but i can't seem to truely capture it with plants and people. I know they're there- have you ever brushed near someone in the shops and found yourself feeling strange? usually in the belly chakra area?

I think there are people out there who truely see peoples auras but most of those who tell me they can...i get the immediate intuition they are deluding themselves; there is a differance to the minds eye and what we physicaly see.

In response to the idea that peoples auras are like the imprint we see when we close our eyes. I think there is a connection. the imprint we see is usually a negative for what we have just been watching- but not always. There are plenty of people out there studying this but the only thing i've heard to date are correlations being made to remote veiwing- an entirely differant feild of psychic abilities.

For those with more developed aura reading abilities i would like to know about animal auras and if you are able to see them as well. I ask because a mare i am working with seems to respond better when certain people are around and it got me thinking about how they veiw us and each other. it might explain how a zebra foal can pick it's mother out of the herd, why our high and mighty felines will jump on one lap and ignore another

I think we all see the clairs which are claircognizant (thoughts) Clairaudience (sound) Clairsentient (sense/feeling) and Clairaudience (seeing) but some see one clair or another.

We are all clairvoyant since we see synchroncities and dreams. We are all clairaudient as we hear others words and they are attracted to us either spoken or written. We are all claircognizant as we have just the right thought or insight. We are all clairsentient since we feel differently when around others.

Like anything we can raise our vibrations and fine tune all these clairs.

Rene said it "we need to trust our own intuitions and how Spirit/universe communicates with us. none is right or wrong, it just is. As for the EGO it doesn't need a bad press. The EGO is just like a burgular alarm and its up to us to check if there is a real threat or if we are having an intuition which is energetic data that can change the whole. We can then embrace it knowing we have the support from the whole."

Hey, Im new to this, so please bear with me,

I read the celestine phorphecy, just over a year ago, and then the tenth, now im up to chapter 11 in the vision. I have always wondered about seeing energy so I have done many things to help my chances, I started with looking at the space between my fingers and relaxng my eyes, then tried with plants, feeling them, taking real apprication for each bump and groove. When the sun is full and getting ready to set, been in a highly energy filled place, I was then able to see the glow around trees, and they bring about a different appricaton.
It was during this week with the sky a crystal blue no clouds in sight, i would lay on the grass lookng at my fingers against the gorgous background of such a pure sky. Then unexpectedly I was sitting i councilling and we talk alot about spritual growth, and the sun beamed into the room hitting my counciller when i seen a bubble of energy around her, the feeling was intence an intant knowing what i was seeing was real. It was white and clear.

For those of you who can see energy and arunas is this sorta how it starts??

I have seen energy as light coming off of livng creatures as white energy in ways that people seen aura but this is not a common thing but when I do see it, it means I really need to pay attention because something important is going on. When I see the energy it is like a inch or so white energy flowing from the individual, kind of like smoke clouds from a person smoking a ciggerate but I do know a individual who actually sees color like in the celesine prophecy movie, however to my under standing seeing color is not very common.

There is however a way to measure energy that anyone can do with just a couple $ in equipment. A individual can make dowsing rods with metal close hangers and thing piping you can get at a hardware store. You point the rods at a individual and say "show me this persons aura or show me this persons energy and the rods will seperate from each other just a few inches up to going completely back wards for people shining with energy like the sun. When I first heard of doing this I did not believe in the process, however when I actually used them for myself and saw the results I became a believer.

I also use my pendulum as a means of gaging energy flows of people, animals and even plants.

I'd like to speak of other things which I believe indirectly, and directly, relate to 'seeing' but I'll hold off for another thread (well maybe).

Each of us 'see' different amounts depending on different blockages that we each have. We are each on our own stage of development but until we achieve or perhaps arrive at different points of understanding, which would accompany such abilities, they're just not going to become prevalent in our lives. We can get glimpses here and there but that's probably as far as it's going to go.

As Theressa says, we each have these 'clear perception' abilities and it's not so much that they're not active, they are active, but most of us, if not all, do not know that they are. There is no other way that we would be 'here'.

The old metaphysical paradigm of "we create our own reality" still applies.

But would it assist us to become attuned to such abilities at this point in time? We each have our own paths to follow, we exist on this plane to learn certain things, to learn through experience and to achieve an enlightened state through our own personal understanding. Only through this personal experience will we achieve a truly fulfilling understanding.

For so long I've wished to see clearly 'now', and although I've had quite strong experiences throughout my life, I can never seem to keep the momentum going.

One of the main problems with doing all this, is that we are trying to perceive certain realities that exist beyond the laws of our present cognition. One can't really catch a lion with a butterfly net. That said, these 'other' realities do intermingle with the one we presently perceive so we can actually commune with them.

Another problem is the fact that most of society generally doesn't believe in such things and since we are all creating things together it can be a bit difficult, and daunting, to break out of the mainstream reality machine.

As for clearly seeing, we can practice our abilities 'til we 'get better' at them, but it's important not to let other stages of our development trail behind. This is the main reason why we're not having open and meaningful contact with other realities and henceforth entities.

I used to think that much of this was 'common knowledge' and although some do understand it, obviously many do not. I hope I have been of some help.

I appreciate your post here. I think you are sharing some valuable insights in it.

It really is important, not just to be in the moment one is experiencing, but to accept it, as it is, how it is, without going into some kind of critical perspective on it that stops the flow of the potential that all moments contain. We tend to find it easy to say, yes, we are creating our reality while at the same time we deride this third dimensional, physical experience as if we are in it because we are doing some sort of training camp.

If there is in an inherent divinity to all things, and I think there is, it seems disingenuous to me to denigrate our experience based on our own inability to perceive and understand the 'magic' every moment contains. The subtle and not so subtle in our world culture today wants the everyday to be... frustrating... mundane... why? I believe a close look at our society should lead one to understand the economic benefit to keeping the popular understanding at such low levels of expectation of ourselves. It makes it easier to sell the special effects and the glamourous things they distract us with.

Taking off those corporate rose-colored glasses allows us to see the magic in a smile, the touch of a wet puppy's nose on our hand, the whisper of the wind in the trees. If we are able to live with that fundamental appreciation of the day-to-day, we may indeed find the veil thins to a wisp of energy that we can simply walk through.

Anyway, just woke up a bit ago and I'm kinda feeling like I was on the other side of all of that cultural fluff during the night.
